Google Bad Review 1: If you have curly hair do NOT go to Stuart for a haircut and I cannot stress this enough! I have naturally very curly hair but have really struggled over the years to find a competent hairdresser so I decided to go to Stuart himself (paying £200 + tip). He said it would be best to grow it a bit first so he cut it all one length, collar length with no layering. Over the time that I visited…a few years to give him a chance, my hair got straighter but frizzy! Of course numerous expensive products were flogged to me and I was berated for buying online and not from them when I ran out…..I live in Derbyshire. After my last cut there in 2018 I called them for advice as I couldn’t do a thing with my hair, of course he never called back. Someone else mentioned that he’s too busy talking about how marvellous his salon is, I got all that and more….he never once stopped bragging about how many different, unique and mighty expensive instruments he’d bought importing many from the States and customising them with crystals etc which us mugs are paying for. Plus he again bragged about how many he was learning to play at once….on and on he went!
Please curly haired ladies AVOID THIS SALON AT ALL COSTS!
I have read your reply Stuart and I will politely decline your offer of a complimentary haircut, this review wasn’t posted with that in mind plus you made a mess of it when I was paying for it so I’m not stupid enough to return now that my hair has been restored to its normal state of naturally curly by the curly hair expert at Hershesons!
Please don’t insult me by saying you tried to call me when you clearly couldn’t be bothered, both my phones have caller ID and you didn’t call on either!
I’m sure lots of people are happy with your services but this is an honest review based on my experience!

Google Bad Review (2): I've got a £15 haircut for £80, and spent a tiring hour listening to how cool they are :(. From the very beginning I told that I need a haircut that won't need any efforts. I know that it's possible – my previous hairdressers did it. To achieve it, they ususally spent an hour carefully cutting every strand of my wavy hair on different levels so the result looked great and volumous just after washing. Here the haidresser spent like 3 minutes in total cutting my hair on one level, and an hour – making my hair (what for – I needed a decent cut for the next 3 months, and I didn't need anything for that particular evening, and I made it clear) and self-advertizing. Plus some “hair-treatment” which made absolutely no difference and added ~£20 to the final price. I'm ok with paying more for a good result, but here I paid for nothing and was not happy at all.
