ALMOST ALL 5 star reviews surely must be paid for, or from “influencers”….

So so rude! The service was awful, the food late and expensive, and everything was generally unwelcoming.

The staff seemed pretty arrogant considering that ultimately their competitors are light years ahead, leaving clos maggiore to fester in the swamp of their own mediocrity.

Google Bad Review (2):  We have been to the restaurant many times. Sadly lunch booked today was very different. We were not told that we would be seated upstairs at the Covent Garden venue which quite honestly resembled a canteen. 6 tables squashed together with one waiter who was rushed off his feet. None of the finesse of the downstairs part of the restaurant coupled with rude front of house. I could not wait to get out!
