Google Bad Review 1:  I wish I had listened to the negative reviews before going ahead with Heycar.
To give this review some context it is my one and only review I have ever written, the service I have received has been so overwhelmingly shocking that I hope I can save at least one other person from falling foul of this terrible company.
First of all I paid my deposit for a vehicle and was told (after chasing up a day later) that it had been sold to someone else. I was reassured this was rarer and convinced it was Easy to transfer the deposit to another car.
I did this straight away and reserved another vehicle. A day passed and again I chased to find out what was happening. I was told if I paid for the vehicle in full I would receive a call back to arrange delivery…this call never came.
I then spent the next three days chasing heycar, who by this point had over £11,000 of my money with no sign of the car.
Eventually I received an email telling me that this second car had also been sold to someone else !!
As you can imagine, I am very worried – I signed the Paperwork and paid in full. It is now five days since I paid IN FULL and I still have no refund.
I have been given an apology and assured this is very rare….but its happened to me twice now. I am unable to buy a new car as my funds are still sat in Heycars account as, apparently I can give them £11,000 instantly but it can take them days to give the money back.
I am now car-less, I have none of my savings and ive spent days chasing and chasing.
The final nail in the coffin is that I was told the sales assistant that took my full payment didn't call me back the same day as he had left to go on annual leave “which we are all entitled to do”.
Steer clear!
