Google Bad Review 1:  If you’re unfortunate enough to engage Chloe Hindley as your solicitor be aware that if she says that you will be released from custody within one hour. It can mean as in my case three days later. Not even a tiny bit of help to explain what went wrong. Serious lack of integrity be warned

Google Bad Review (2):  I instructed BSB Solicitors with my case. I initially spoke to Monika who was extremely rude. However, my case was dealt with by Jim/James. He was very positive about my case. After speaking over the phone, I went to their offices for a face to face consultation with James. I made the payment of £600 (for one letter & face to face consultation). I received an email after a few days from James saying ‘as discussed this is a very difficult case’ (which he did not mention at all either at the consultation or over the telephone). There was very little communication from the firm from then onwards despite me desperately trying to contact them.

The reviews on google was the reason I instructed them in the first place. I am concerned at the validity of nearly all the reviews being 5 star. I believe these reviews are fake or promoted without showing the true experience of real clients who actually paid BSB for their services.

The letter of representation by James to the train company did not assist my case.

I contacted other law firms who were extremely honest & informed me that they do not take on cases of fare evasions in trying to settle matters out of court with the train companies. This is simply because train companies are very strict with tolerance & take people to court regardless. Therefore, they would rather not take on clients to then disappoint them. James & his team were keen on taking my £600 & being positive about my case and then later saying they cannot guarantee results due to case being ‘difficult’ shows a lack of integrity. BSB Solicitors must have been aware from their own experience that train companies would be less willing to settle out of court but gave false hope to make money. This is why they later (after payment is made) mention how difficult cases are or that they cannot guarantee results.

The way my case was handled & the results delivered shows the service is certainly not worth £600. That is genuinely appalling and definitely too high.

Please be aware of this firm taking advantage of people who find themselves in trouble with fare evasion cases.
