Google Bad Review: Despite friends warning us against RSK, we decided to place our house in Hanwell on the market with them. They guided us towards an asking price, and the house went online. Within ten days of the house going live, they called us and recommended that we knock £50,000 off the asking price. We were reluctant to do this but after being hounded by the manager of the office and told we will never sell it at the current asking price, we bowed down to pressure and reduced the price. Two weeks later, they recommended we knock another £50,000 off. By this stage we were really unhappy with them. We decided to be in for one of the viewings. The agent knew nothing about the house – she didn’t show the viewers the communal garden, she didn’t point out any features eg underfloor heating, and when when asked questions by the viewers she couldn’t answer a single one. At that stage, we decided we had had enough and we asked RSK to release us from the contract. They refused and said we had to stay with them for a minimum of 16 weeks. We had never actually signed a physical contract with them – they’d asked for an e-signature early on and applied it to a contract we’d never read. We have sold three London houses previously and never experienced such unprofessionalism and ineptitude. We managed to sell our house with them the week we were due to end the contract, and on the day of completion we had a call from the solicitor saying we had completed on the sale and could release the keys. We packed our children into the car and within minutes RSK were phoning us saying we were late with the keys and the buyer was getting annoyed. This was within 20 minutes of the call from the solicitor. RSK are sweetness and light until they sign you up, then they turn into nasty unprofessional bullies who have no clue what they’re doing. Wish we had listened to the many friends who warned us off.
