Google Bad Review:  Called this practice up to ask whether my braces (from a different country – to which I cannot return to now owing to political reasons) could be removed. While I know some orthodontists don't take transfer patients, the receptionist on the phone was highly dismissive – before I could finish my sentence, she cut me off with the snobbiest tone, saying “yeaaaah…. no”, that they don't DO transfer patients (emphasis by her) and that they are a small practice and their “orthodontistS only come in a few days a week”. Their website however gives off the impression that this clinic revolves only around one orthodontist – Dr Kyi, not multiple orthodontists! It is puzzling that she would come in only a few days a week if she is the sole practitioner.

Furthermore, the website states that Dr Kyi is “regularly referred” cases that have had “unsuitable treatments” leading one to think that they would take transfer patients on, or patients in desperate need of getting their braces off… If the receptionist had helped to check with Dr Kyi herself, that would have been a more helpful and welcoming approach, even if the answer was in the negative. Such a misleading website, and such a highly insensitive person who answered the phone. The website does not accurately reflect how unfriendly and unhelpful this practice can be to different types of potential patients.
