Google Bad Review: Incompetent. This agent has cost me a lot of money didn’t advise me that my purchaser was unable to proceed due to their financial circumstances and led me to believe that we were on course to exchge that week & complete just over a week later. This was agreed with the purchasers, Sal the manager & myself in my house! I therefore rented a lock-up garage left a property empty to move into myself and it was only when I questioned whether everything was going ahead and there were no hold-ups from the other side that Marsh And Parsons came clean and advised that my purchasers were not in a financial situation to proceed – four working days notice.
They kept this fact hidden from myself and my solicitor.
Upon instructing a new agent, I found out that my purchasers have put in an offer for a house, a week ago with my new agent.
Marsh & Parsons did not keep tabs on how my sale was proceeding as well as many other issues that I had along the way – such as not properly advertising, losing keys (& finding them again mind), leaving keys in doors, leaving windows open…..
Incompetent.
