Google Bad Review 1: Dreadful! Headmasters Great Portland Street are in the enviable position of being recommended to discerning guests staying at the Langham Hotel. A privilege for any business to be in. My instinct should have been right! When I called to make a reservation the young man who took my call was arrogant and unaccommodating. On arrival at the salon it immediately felt wrong. Sunday afternoon at 4.30pm and the staff were less than friendly, my hairstylist asked me ‘ do you want a blow dry or something?' The young intern who washed my hair was completely out of her depth. My stylist began to blowdry my hair removing someone else's hair from the brush onto the floor! She then dropped the brush and left it on the floor. There was no stying involved and my hair whilst clean and tidy did not reflect ‘a master hairstylist' blowdry and price point. Shocking service, shocking attitude, shocking blowdry experience. Langham have been informed. PS I never post negative reviews because I am consciouis of the impact but this experience beggars belief.

Google Bad Review (2): It all went downhill in the past few months thanks to the booking/head office. December, January and March appointment cancelled by the booking office 2 days before my appointment. Gave them one last chance in April and when I showed up they had no record of my appointment, turns out it was booked under a different clients name.
Contacted the head office because my main frustration with the booking office was the consistent lies when the called to cancel, saying my hairdresser took a last minute holiday. While in fact he was working at a different salon, not only frustrating to me but making my hairdresser (who I was super happy with) look extremely unprofessional.
Head office respons was some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced, told me I should expect it and showed no understanding for the frustration with all the lies and last minute cancellations.
Safe to say that after 10 years with Headmasters I will not find a different company that doesn't waste my time and actually values their customers.
Such a shame because the hairdressers are lovely…
*updated review from 9 months ago as it's since been a nightmare, I wish the 5 initial stars review could stay because the hairdresser deserved every star. But google only allows for a post to be edited, not to create a new review*
