Google Bad Review 1:  Very rude service. Upon arrival, first thing that was said was that we have 2 hours sharp to eat (which we were reminded of continuously during the dinner). Indeed two hours after arrival, we were asked to leave the table and forced to finish our bottle of wine at the overcrowded bar without a place to sit. Felt rushed and pressured the whole time.

Google Bad Review (2):  Hakkansan is a nightclub that serves food. If you come here and accept or seek this experience then great for you. For the rest of us it is a problem.
So the locale is nice looking but very dark, and actually so dark that I had trouble reading the menu. We where first placed at the bar, and they had a great selection of cocktails and other drinks. But since the volume was so loud the bartender misunderstood us so that one of us got the wrong cocktail.
Then we where led to our table that was good enough, nothing to complain about, but nothing to write home about either. And the music and the diskotek beats where our biggest issue, and we had problems having a conversation without leaning on the table.
The menu is big and diverse, and have a decent price. We chose the Phoenix menu that had a selection of dishes with some duck salad and Dim Sum for starters and 5 (I think) dishes for the main menu and then a dessert. Everything was well served and presented. And the tastes where good. The wine menu was also good and the sommelier did give good advice. What again brought down the experience was that someone had puked on the toilet, and that the nightclub beats was still going strong.
So what could have been a very good meal ended up being a bad experience. I guess we should have done our research better and chosen another place to eat.

This day recognises the romantic legend and ill-fated love affair between Niulang, a cowherd, and a weaver fairy, Zhinü. The couple fell in love, married and had children on Earth but the goddess of heaven, Zhinü's mother, disapproved and banished her daughter back to heaven. The couple's love was so strong that it touched the Jade Emperor. The Emperor set the terms that Zhinü and Niulang could see each other once a year on the 7th day of the 7th month of the lunar year. The romantic legend is now known as Qixi Festival.
