Google Bad Review (2): A friend wanted to go for dinner in an authentic English pub. Five of us (mistakenly) went along with a suggestion to visit the Three Tuns.
The food quality was atrocious. Dishes arrived late, burnt, and cold. A selection of starters arrived after some mains had been finished, but before other mains arrived. And of course some of the wrong meals were served. 5 meals is not a complicated order but clearly was beyond Three Tuns capability.
The obnoxious group at the next table were literally falling on the floor drunk and extremely disruptive to the entire pub. For their behaviour, the bartender/bouncer repeatedly confronted them but he only had impotent threats of expulsion and infinite second chances to offer. He ended up providing them with a few more drinks and a friendly chat. Pathetic.
We couldn’t wait to leave, and I wouldn’t go back if you paid me. I suggest the Three Tuns quits serving food since they’re only competent to serve peanuts. I also suggest they get themselves a bouncer/bartender who is not friends with the local ferals. A sorry excuse for a pub. Greene King should be ashamed.
