Google Bad Review:  My partner Visited the dry cleaners 21/05 to drop off one of my coats that I need for a funeral Friday 24/05. The lady behind the counter confirmed the coat would be ready that Friday and available for collection at 09:00, this was fine as I did not need the coat until 12:30. I arrived that Friday to the shop for 10:30, the shop was closed for about 30 mins as the owners had to pop out… this was not really a problem and did not mind the wait as the weather was great outside. Once the shop opened up I walked up to the counter and handed over my ticket and £12 to collect my coat. After about 5-10 mins of searching I was told my coat was still with the factory, slightly worried now as it was agreed upon with my partner by the female working behind the counter that the coat would be ready for 09:00. I stressed with the man that I need this coat for a funeral that same day, 12:30 latest. he told me not to worry as he would be happy to deliver the coat to my address around 13:00. I reiterated that there was no point in delivering the coat unless it was before 12:30, we agreed on this time and I text him my address details… 12:30 comes and I have had no text or phone call about my coat, in fact he did not bother to update me on my coat until the 28/05 which was 4 WHOLE DAYS after the agreed date it would be ready. My partner and I visited the shop 29/05 to collect the coat, we asked for a refund at the time as understandably the whole point of having the coat dry cleaned was for a funeral and then to not be able to wear it for that purpose due to them not having the coat ready at the agreed time made the whole point of cleaning it utterly pointless. The lady behind the counter argues that, in fact, we already had been given a discount, she was clearly trying to look for a way to defuse the situation but it was not really helping at all, you can't just start making up imaginary discounts and telling us we actually had it better than we thought. I explained that I never even had a phone call the day of the funeral to which she stood there, bare faced lied, and told me her male colleague called me right in front of her and explained to me how I, told him not to bother with the delivery because it was too late! I am very upset with the whole situation.. I understand things don't always go according to plan but the worst part of this customer service is being called a liar and then having the cheek and audacity to tell me that I am actually in the wrong, and it is my fault because according to them I magically used my powers of telepathy to contact them and tell them not to bother. Seven star dry cleaners, they are far from it.. more like 1 out of seven stars. Overpriced and Underqualified.
