Google Bad Review 1:  They say that my adress is far away for them to return my items, but it is less than a mile from the pick up adress. Also, one day every workable day is availiable and the next day I have to wait for 2 weeks. Very dissaponting and I'm in a big trouble because I need to move right away.

Google Bad Review (2):  No part of this experience was ‘easy'

We used easyStorage twice – 3 pods the first time, and 1 pod the second.

We booked our insurance elsewhere (at considerably less cost) but easyStorage weren't able to take the insurance off their invoice. When spending time on the phone they said it wouldn't be charged but still having it on the invoice meant we had to keep checking.

During the first pickup 3 men ‘went slow' and at times stood around all 3 of them chatting to run down the clock so that it took just over an hour – so that it cost an extra £135.

For the second pickup, noone turned up during the window and noone called. They eventually turned up later but it was problematic as we had a flight booked out of the country and could have missed it.

The return invoice again had a cost for insurance. We spent time calling, were told it wouldn't be charged but had to check and check.

The first return was fine. For the second return we were told there was an accident and they wouldn't be able to come that day. We insisted they come and somehow they managed to arrive well within the 4 hour window.

During this return I saw one of them hurl items into the room rather than place them carefully.

We paid a fixed fee of around £240 for the return beforehand. After the return we were charged an additional £1680 with a terse email invoice for “additional delivery charges”. We had specifically asked if we would be charged extra again if their delivery guys “went slow” and were told it was a fixed fee. Yet were charged 8x the fee they said.

They refunded this amount when we queried it but I had already cancelled my credit card by this time to try to avoid this absurd way over the top charge.

All in all, no part of this experience was “easy”.
