Google Bad Review (2):  I took the PTE-A here last week. The staff were friendly and very professional, I can see why Pearson's test results are recognised throughout the world, but I was a bit annoyed with a few things that happened which I felt had a detrimental affect on my test score.

The booths I sat my test in were only separated from the next person by a small board and I could hear EVERYTHING the person next to me was saying! He was speaking really loudly (and in a really bad staccato accent) and it really put me off, to the point where I had to remove my own headphones and put my fingers in my ears so I could get some quiet on the reading parts. Also it totally threw me on the speaking parts and I totally lost my own train of thought while speaking myself, and I think he was actually competing to be the loudest! As there were only around 5 test takers in a room with around 15 booths, I think the test invigilator really should have spread us out to give us all a bit more privacy and head space while taking the test.

I passed and got the grades I needed for which I'm thankful, but had I failed and had to repeat the test, I'd definitely ask to be placed away from other test takers as I was placed in the test room if there weren't that many people taking the test that day. And that is my advice for others going for this test in the future!
