Google Bad Review 1: Very negative experience. I actually wrote notes about all the things that had gone wrong – spanned 2 A4 pages – so I won't be putting it all up here. Robbie was helpful when we went to look at laptops. We ordered an HP ProBook 470 G5. This came with a fast 250GB SDD and we wanted a larger drive. We paid £1049 for an upgraded version. Our money was taken immediately but we didn't get the laptop with the specification we wanted until 9 days later. Firstly another 250GB low spec drive was put in (£50 on eBuyer) – we didn't want 2 drives, then the fast 250GB drive was taken out and in inferior 500GB drive put it – basically downgrading the machine instead of upgrading it. Fortunately we were on the ball – we needed to be – and checked what was put in – insisted the 500GB was changed to the higher spec. To be fair – everything we asked was done… but we shouldn't have had to check ourselves. We felt that they were trying to get away with it to maximise profit We also called numerous times and despite being told we would be called back we weren't until the last couple of days of this saga. We looked online and found that we could have bought the same laptop for £778 and the fast hard drive for £134. When challenged Robbie said that the trade price was more than the retail price online. Really? I did suggest that as we had had such a bad experience that throwing in the 250GB low spec drive (cost around £50) in addition would have been a great goodwill gesture. Picked up laptop yesterday and no such luck. Shame – that would have gone some way to restoring a bit of faith. We were going to ask them to transfer the data from my old laptop to my new one but lost confidence early on. We really wanted to support a local business but instead felt like we were overcharged and didn't get a good service at all. We will not be using this business again.

Google Bad Review (2): Ridiculous quote for a very small job and had to pay £30 to not go ahead with the job and get my child's laptop back. Smug and obnoxious owner – Sevenoaks needs a decent computer repair shop and this is not one.
