Google Bad Review: Great location. Great auditorium. Really dreadful play. Young Marx was OK. ‘Allelujah was pleasant enough. A Very Very Very Dark Matter is the worst play I’ve ever seen.
Not sure how the Director of Three Billboards managed to produce this confused, self-indulgent, intellectually bankrupt excuse of a play.
The script was beyond bad. The casual racism cringeworthy. And the ‘humour’ breathtakingly lazy. Actually limited to the overuse of the word f***. That’s it. So if you’re someone who thinks saying f****** 20 times in a sentence is the height of wit then you may well enjoy the play. If, however, you’ve got the tiniest bit of imagination and intelligence, I am afraid this is a total waste of time and money.
£130 for two tickets to see this. Shameful. The only saving grace is that this abomination of a play is only 80 minutes long – although it felt like the pain lasted for hours. Don’t go.
