Google Bad Review:  Absolutely fuming, after a nice Christmas we decided to go and have a swim with our kids. You can’t just have a swim now, you need to register your details.
So they need your name, age (DOB), address, Gender, e-mail address and phone number, just to swim! We had been here on many occasions and never been asked for these very personal details. We gave our name and she preceded to roll out all manor of names and addresses of other people with the Surname Davis. Surely even that is wrong. I’m not going to list these peoples names and addresses but this information could easily be used by the wrong person.
You should not need to give all these details but we were told that if we didn’t give over the information we couldn’t swim. I was shocked.
I asked to speak to the Manager and apparently the girl at the desk is the Manager, she had an awful attitude as well. I then paid with a £50 note and was looked at like I was some kind of criminal. I said is that ok and she just looked at me without response with an awful angry face.
What made all this worse is both our kids our autistic and non verbal and they don’t understand waiting.
The staff in the actual pools were brilliant, our youngest cut his finger and they were very helpful so A* for them.
As for the staff member “manager” at the front desk she was pure rude and condescending and her attitude was awful just because I didn’t feel comfortable giving over these details.
The policy to take these details is also unnecessary and is an invasion of privacy in my opinion.
