Google Bad Review (2): writing on behalf of L. i am absolutely appalled by the new staff in this branch and their approach to patient care. i sat beside my friend as she made a call to ask for an old staff member as he gave A-class service previously. my friend had visited the store on 3 occasions… the first time she wondered around the store whilst the receptionist sat at the desk without giving acknowledgement, it looked as if she was head down on her iphone. the second time L went into the store to pay for some frames for her child and stood in front of the receptionist as the young lady sat quiet. anyway in the end my friend paid for the glasses but had to ask what was happening .receptionist said the machine “froze” and as my friend waited without any further interaction from the young lady L decided to leave. L told me that she felt ignored also on the third visit when a staff member asked the manager if they could order frames, the manager did not seem to want to accommodate this, the staff member looked disappointment – this manager does not get how to work with customers to maintain custom . today i advised my friend to call and express her experience ,as i have been taken care of marvelously by the old staff members and have brought glasses that serve me well. here is what i witnessed on loud speaker…… my friend expressed how she felt and a young man past her to the manager .she would have still like to buy designer two frames. i heard the manager become upset with what L was saying and even cut her off saying you've had your say , taking it personally to which he also said he does take it personally because the reception lady works hard and he trained her himself. seemed he felt this was a reflection on him, possibly not the first complaint
