Google Bad Review 1:  This gym is a danger to women! I’m sorry, I believe that all women should learn self defence but this isn’t the place to do it.

I was in a Muay Thai class, the woman taking the session was mostly on her phone and wasn’t really teaching. We did clinching, grappling to the head. A fellow student grabbed my head and then swiped my legs (something we were told was very dangerous so we weren’t to do), he didn’t let go of my neck and I went into the wall. The instructor wasn’t that concerned and the lesson continued. The student wasn’t asked to leave.

I was in a&e shortly afterwards and off work for 2 days.This was 6 months ago. I’ve had reoccurring problems with my neck ever since, the gym weren’t in touch.

I get the impression that trained fighters, not teachers, work here. It’s not as supportive as it should be and this was plain dangerous.

There’s a lack of women in this gym, I now see why.

Google Good Review:  From what seems like an intimidating gym from the outside is anything but. Thr staff and customers are all very friendly and all levels are welcome. I recommend the bjj and boxing.
