Google Bad Review 1:  I took my 4 years old child there it was most terrible experience for her she was alrealy scared as it was her 1st time to the optician and it was horrible for her and for me.

We was seen by a male optician not even once he uttered a good, kind or even a praise to my child when she did listen to his instructions and he was soo forceful made her sit by herself on a very high chair not telling her what he was going to do instead he told her “you can cry all you like but your not getting down from the chair until i finish testing you” he told her to “be quite” and “stop crying” very strictly.

As a mother i try to calm her down with lot of encouragement and praise when she did listen to the instructions. But the optician was not helping at all with his rude words and discouragement.

At one point my heart melted when screen was showing lots of fishes my child said ‘there was 100's of fishes' he responded back ‘ thats pathetic'.

Where he couldn't carry out the examination he sarted to blame me for spoiling my child.

Do you blame my child for crying? Being her first time in a strange, unfriendly place sitting in a grownup big black scary looking high chair.

And do you blame me as a mother for showing support and love to my child when a unfriendly person looking at my child.

I would not recommend anyone to take their young children there.

Google Bad Review (2):  Hard selling! They thought I dont know things. Most of the visit they will say improvement and need new glasses. 6 months ago just got 2 pairs then after 6 months they want another new then when I said I will use the old frame just change the lenses, as lenses are free for kids they are asking to charge £10, then all of a sudden the optician oh your glasses are fine I got the old prescription in my computer bla bla bla. And and when I asked for copy of the prescription he immediately changed it and handwritten it!!
Be careful as most people just think of sales and marketing! They sell you even you dont need. Same with other opticians.
Sad where are the compassion and sympathy gone???
