Google Bad Review (2):  I am currently having windows made by K&D for my house – they are supplying a large number of windows and project value is in excess of £100k. Sadly i can't echo the other positive reviews – to date they have been extremely slow, their attention to detail is poor and when there is an issue I have found them focussing on trying to shift blame to myself or the contractors rather than trying to help resolve the problems.

Two windows have been supplied so far and they are good quality and nicely made. I am sure the finished product will be good.

However, the process of getting there and the amount i have had to chase them to move forwards with the project is really frustrating. They have attended site only once and when they were uncertain of measurements and I asked them to check these themselves they wanted to bill me more despite the project size (and the fact their surveyor was the one who was uncertain of the dimensions).

After paying the deposit I heard nothing for 2 months and had to chase a couple of times before i got acknowledgement and K&D finally sent out a surveyor to get started on producing final window designs. In making changes my architect had to chase two or three times as the plans would come back with incorrect amends. Communication all round has not been as good as I would have expected.

As I say, the windows supplied so far are good quality, but the customer service and process of getting the windows into production means i couldn't recommend anyone using this firm based on my experiences.
