Google Bad Review (2):  One trainer guy who is wearing glasses and big is really rude. The thing is he was trying to be friendly, but was really rude. He said something to me as a joke but it was definitely racism. I bet he wouldn't know cuz he is just dumb person.
Just he is dumb and lack of common sense. you better don't speak.. that's better for you.

Gym is fine, small but there are enough stuff for workout, Not too busy.
shower room not bad. Sauna is good.
Toilet smell is awful.

compare to price it is good
but one trainer should stop trying to be friendly. It was really rude.
I'm not gonna recommend this place
because of that racist trainer guy.

Google Bad Review 1:  This gym is a rip off do not go there ! They are way more expensive than most gyms but do not offer a better or great service for that matter ! Can never access the classes as they are alway full! The gym is tiny and dirty and the staff is useless. Google Bad Review (2):  I have been a member for just over a year now and I have to say it’s one of the worst experiences I think I have ever had. (And, yes, I am cancelling my membership) The class timetables are very badly organised as some classes do not even have 5 minutes between them so you end up starting your class late allowing the previous class to finish.

The gym itself is okay – pretty outdated – and is incredibly busy between 5:00pm – 8:00pm on weeknights. I, of course, appreciate that this cannot be helped due to this being the peak time and the hotel guests having access but it is sometimes impossible to use certain equipment so I end up giving up after not too long. I have found some staff to be really nice – whilst others are on another spectrum of rude. I have just experienced a very rude staff member in a class which, out of principle, I will NEVER attend again! I have never been made to feel so small. I am more than disappointed as it is so expensive compared to other gyms. I have previously been a member at Bannatynes and genuinely couldn’t recommend them enough.

Be warned if you want to join – if you like overcrowded gyms and rude staff then please go ahead.

Google Bad Review 1:  I am a member of Brondesbury Park Nuffield Health and attended the Battersea club at 1pm on a Monday afternoon. I was meeting a friend here who was also making use of the multi access feature of the membership. It was very quiet and I entered to find no one at the front desk, so sat on the sofas in the cafe waiting for my friend to arrive. I was approached by a sour faced employee asking me if I was a member and she scanned my card, first strike, be more polite. Then we got through the changing rooms and into the gym unscathed. We set up a small HIIT circuit in a workout area (no signs) that already had exercise balls, box steppers and the like in it, and no one else was working out there. We were minding our own business doing our sweaty circuit and a middle aged woman comes up to us and says in the rudest tone ‘you know this is the cool down area? If you want to do a workout there’s a big room over there for it’. Now this ‘room’ was another open area with workout equipment where one of the staff PT’s was doing a session with two women and taking up the space, so I didn’t think it would be polite at such a quiet time to encroach on their session. I responded with an ‘okay’ and a smile and we carried on with our circuit. We managed the rest of our session doing a few free weights bits without any other issues. We then wanted a towel for a shower after, went to the front desk to ask where we got one from (every single other Nuffield I have attended – which is about 5 in the last 4 years – has given out towels to anyone that is a Nuffield member that uses the gym). There were two male employees at the front desk, so I asked them where we got a towel from. They looked at me as if I was asking them to strip naked, asked me again, rudely, if I was a member, I said yes, was asked if I was a member “here” because ‘normally we charge non-members £1 to use a towel’ to which I responded ‘can I not just be a paying Nuffield Health member to have a towel?’ He told me a bitter ‘just this once, but normally it’s a £1’ and we were off with our scratchy and expensive towels. I have never felt so patronised and unwanted in a place where I am paying good money to use the gyms. Part of the attraction for me to the Nuffield group was that I could use any of the gyms that were eligible for my rate of membership. But if this is the attitude I am received with then I would wholeheartedly NOT recommend becoming a member. Not all Nuffield gyms are this bad, but I think the membership rate has gone to their head. Be more humble.

NONE would be better!
This is the one of the worse gyms I have ever been to.
Recently had a new manager – the quality of the gym has declined…
The staff are rude and unfriendly.
The change rooms are dirty. The steam room in the ladies has not worked for over a month.
My boyfriend said that half the showers in the male change room have not worked for over a month too.
Once our contracts end we will NOT be renewing – there are other gyms nearby with better facilities and staff!

I felt conned, having booked and paid for a couple of sessions in advance, to find that I was expected to swim in the rather pathetic 20 metre pool. A waste of time for anyone who wants a decent lane swim. Push off from one end and you're halfway to the other.

Google Bad Review (2):  Definitely the worst gym I have ever attended.

Missing dumbbells are not replaced, hooks and equipment are frequently stolen, machines are often broken, we’re advised to not to leave anything of value in the locker room, etc.

The gym is also dirty and poorly maintained.

There’s no indoor shoe policy, and most people use the machines and different equipment without ever using a towel, and obviously, no one cleans their sweat after leaving their seat.

I go there because I don’t have any other option, since it’s the only gym near me that opens at 6am, and I can only go before work.

Not recommended. Avoid this place if possible.

Google Bad Review (2):  I have been a member for just over a year now and I have to say it’s one of the worst experiences I think I have ever had. (And, yes, I am cancelling my membership) The class timetables are very badly organised as some classes do not even have 5 minutes between them so you end up starting your class late allowing the previous class to finish.

The gym itself is okay – pretty outdated – and is incredibly busy between 5:00pm – 8:00pm on weeknights. I, of course, appreciate that this cannot be helped due to this being the peak time and the hotel guests having access but it is sometimes impossible to use certain equipment so I end up giving up after not too long. I have found some staff to be really nice – whilst others are on another spectrum of rude. I have just experienced a very rude staff member in a class which, out of principle, I will NEVER attend again! I have never been made to feel so small. I am more than disappointed as it is so expensive compared to other gyms. I have previously been a member at Bannatynes and genuinely couldn’t recommend them enough.

Be warned if you want to join – if you like overcrowded gyms and rude staff then please go ahead.

Google Bad Review 1:  I rung up and booked a squash court a week in advance – was advised that as neither of us were members we had to pay £15 each for a “day pass” to play squash. I said that I thought this was too expensive considering we were just going to use the squash courts – to which the person on the phone said that he would let us have the squash court for £20 (for both of us – so £10 each).

So my friend and I turned up on the day, having left work early to make the slot, and I explained that I had a court booked for 5pm. First of all there was no record that the squash court was booked, In fact I could see that there was tip-ex covering up whatever was written on the 5pm booking. However the tip-exed 5pm slot was not filled with anyone else so we were offered it, but were told we had to pay £15 each. I explained that we had made a deal with “Greg” the previous week over the phone, but were told that we were “mis-informed” and that “Greg had left his job”. This is hardly what one would like to encounter having made a legitimate deal in advance. The duty manger refused to even acknowledge, let alone honour,this agreement; which was disgraceful.

It wouldn't have cost the health centre anything to honour this agreement, in fact they actually would have had paying customers for an hour of simple squash. Had we then had a good game this could have turned into a weekly full price session or membership. Instead my friend and I had to spend our £20 at the local pub, which I can assure you had infinitely better customer service than this place.

Google Bad Review (2):  I have been a member of this gym for over a year. When I joined the gym was good and not very crowded. There were still some issues, such as a limited number of stretching mats, but overall it was good quality for central London. After the refurbishment last year, the quality of the experience has dropped drastically. There are new machines everywhere, for a total of 60 on the main floor. The logic of how these machines were picked is still not clear, since a lot of them are rarely used, while others are used constantly. Instead of providing more stretching areas, they reduced the stretching area to FIVE mats on top of a mezzanine (yes, that's right). The mats are all super close to each other, and when you exercise it is not unusual to accidentally hit the person next to you. The area is not relaxing at all, and people are forced to squeeze small mats right next to the machines if they don't want to wait 30 mins. The gym is also starting to get overcrowded, and they are still showing people around as if there was space for more members when that's obviously not the case.

The classes are generally good with some exceptions; there are some very good teachers (John and the gentleman teaching Pilates) but others are not very experienced/professional. The staff at the reception is generally nice.

I am not clear what Nuffield business model is, but it is simply not working for retaining people.

Google Bad Review (2):  Nice pool but disabled facilities are not fit for purpose and actually dangerous. One ‘changing room' which is the shower and loo so if you're in there, no one else can change or shower.

No proper rails at the toilet or in the shower, bench to sit on dangerously flimsy, wobbly and not fixed to the wall, I had to sit on the loo to change. Lockers too high for wheelchair users, but frankly, a wheelchair user couldn't use this place.

Because of the one room, floor was wet and anything you changed back into dragged on the floor and got wet too.

If you are disabled in any way, avoid this place.

Google Bad Review 1:  I am a member at Nuffield bromley but it’s getting to the point were I will cancel my membership soon due to the terrible Maintenance. The spa has been broken for half a year now and half the water fountain’s don’t work. Other stuff in there is always going wrong and it seem like they don’t want to pay out to fix issues but are happy to charge high rates for memberships and in return give you terrible facilities.

Google Bad Review 1:  I was a member for over 23 years. I left the gym around 8 months ago. i am writing this after this interval today because i bumped into someone at the weekend and , they told me of their experience at the gym. This so mirrored my own experience that this prompted me to write so all potential and existing members who can see that they are not the only ones being treated unfairly.

The test is when there is a problem and how the club deals with it. My experience was, extremely crudely and without any professionalism.

My emails were not acknowledged , issues were not addressed, NO APOLOGIES WERE FORTHCOMING. The MANAGEMENT ARE NOT INTERESTED IN SOLVING ISSUES, or listening to members, as was shared by many others members since my experience, including issues of security in changing areas.

Front of staff when i was there were often too busy talking to each other rather than greeting the members .

i am sure there are members who had no reason to speak to management and would wonder what this is about. Be aware, if you do need to deal with them, you may be disappointed the way it may be handled. or hopefully this will start a review of how they deal with complaints and ensure the customers are being treated with respect and dignity.
