Google Bad Review 1:  I would seriously question the authenticity of the 4.9 rating of this band of pirates.

My partner and I naively decided to employ KFH as letting negotiators to rent out a premium property.

From start to finish, they were unprofessional, inconsistent and dishonest; traits that applied to all staff we interacted with thus far. Their agenda is simply to tell you what you want to hear in order to “shift” the property off the market, with a blatant disregard for duty of care to their tenants.

From an inventory check in that was promised but never delivered, to receiving a call at 10am on move in day that an electricity test had yet to be done which if failed would not allow move in, they engaged in a pattern of plausible deniability to escape culpability when their negligence was brought to light.

We would NEVER have rented this property had we known the service framework provided by KFH, which is to always side with their landlord clients no matter what mistakes or misconduct have taken place.

I urge anyone to take your property search elsewhere as there is no way to ensure any professionalism from this disaster of an operation.

Google Bad Review (2):  Wish this had a dislike button and no stars! Terrible agency, staff are rude, unhelpful and absolutely pointless, my advice is to go to Dexters or Savills up the road.
You get what you pay for, which is shoddy work from these guys.
Having been an estate agent myself was shocked by there manners. DON'T USE if a landlord or home owner!!!

Unfortunately had a critically poor experience renting with Hamptons. Despite having moved out 5 months ago I am yet to receive my deposit in full, owing to an administrative error which the liability has been passed onto myself the customer to bear.

Very poor customer care with Hamptons, namely Silvana Borja, no longer responding to communications. Which in all fairness, is probably as helpful as their previous responses.

Prospective tenants and landlords please consider before choosing to use their services.

Google Bad Review (2):  Hamptons Chelsea (Vasilis and Paul is who we had to deal with) are a disaster, the mistakes they made were exhausting and numerous. Just a few examples: wrong start date on the contract (which they did not amend and made us pay for the extra days we didn’t need); then failing to arrange the furniture to the flat for the start of the tenancy, our landlord was very unresponsive throughout the tenancy and hamptons completely failed to support us with the issues that came up. Many thanks Vasilis and Paul for ignoring both our calls and emails on a regular basis.
We are currently in the process of moving out of the flat and I am honestly terrified of what’s next. This is probably the most unpleasant company I ever had to deal with and I deeply hope I never come across hamptons again.

Edit: actually Paul contacted us and explained that we are not his clients and he doesn’t work for us. So I guess this company is great for landlords, but if you are a tenant AVOID this like fire.

Google Bad Review 1:  Dominic is a major headache to work with. Very rude staff and management. They will take ages to get even simple things done, treat you horribly, and ridiculously overcharge you for the ‘service'. Avoid.

Google Bad Review (2):  The team always reponds timely to my request. It's been very smooth renting my flat with Dominic London during the whole year.

However, when it comes to the deposit refund, they initially wanted to charge me £50 for some lightbulbs before even comparing with the check in condition. When I argued that those lights were out before I move in and sent her my check in report, they changed their attitude 180 degree and became impatient and threatened me, ‘I am not going to spend any more time on this with you Boyu. If you want your deposit back please sign the deposit release form.’

I’ve been using my own lights bought from Amazon the whole time after I found the original lights were very energy-inefficient and unsafe (burned the cupboard door nearby once). And I put back the originals on the day I checked out to make sure they were the flat was the same condition as check in.

Now, with them refusing to release the reasonable amount of deposit, I can only ask the third party judicator (TDS, tenancy deposit scheme) to judge the case which Idk how long it may take.

So please, if you’re reading this, please do yourself a favour and avoid this agent, especially you’re someone who will go back to your own country after the tenancy. Dealing with irresponsible letting agents can be time-consuming and I can’t imagine doing this from a different time zone.

Google Bad Review (2):  Upon returning the car, the staff member informed me of a fingernail clipping size chip at the base of the windscreen. He said that I would be responsible despite the fact that I cannot control gravel from other vehicles on the motorway. He said that the chip could most likely be repaired with epoxy as it is routinely done. Imagine my shock at finding I had been charged 600 pounds ($900us). When queried, they claimed that a new windscreen was required at my expense. Of course the glass shop would prefer to make 600 than 60. I will be seeking other remedies and warn others about their predatory practices.

Google Bad Review (2):  I went in there with my two kids to buy firewood and at the counter they keep toys at kids’ levels intentionally to elicit a forced purchase when the kid starts crying for the toy he picked up. I bought two rubbery items and after 5 minutes one broke and a yellow liquid spilled whilst my 5yo was playing with it making a mess all over the inside of my car and my wife’s dress. Went back inside asking for a refund and compensation and was asked to get out of the shop and sue as it was a bank holiday and the boss wasn’t there. I asked what was the company name trading on the premises and they said that I should look for it online or check my receipt. I had to ask for a duplicate receipt as I wasn’t given one on the purchase. I will do so shortly. Buyers beware of this dodgy shop.
