Google Bad Review (2):  There's a few things to remember before eating here:
-food is tasty
-portions are very small
-it's expensive
-they don't take cash
-they want you to pay via scanning QR code on your phone
-they look at you suspiciously if you tell them your phone doesn't scan QR (the waitress looked rudely at us and told us that all phones scan QR codes nowadays) so be careful if you don't have a smartphone
-they don't take cash and you have to politely ask them to pay by card, which they don't like either. Essentially they're one step ahead towards a cashless society, which makes this place unworthy of my time and money.
-overall a bad experience, 0 respect towards customers who PAY to eat here.
-I don't recommend this place, there's tons of way better options out there.

Google Bad Review 1:  I just had T/A lunch at Banana tree and it was TERRIBLE. Ive been to other banana trees including Maida Vale and West Hampsted which i have always had a great meal with. Today's lunch was tasteless and smelt funny. Really disappointing as I work just around the corner. Perhaps it was just today's chef or maybe the franchise? will not be going there again.

Google Bad Review (2):  Big disappointment!!!! Rude staff, tasteless food. Pathetic experience today . They charged me a 12.5% service charge and didn’t even tell me about the student discount. Once I came to know about it the manager was very rude and he refused to readjust the service charge and the student discount!

We ordered with my boyfriend noodles mine with chicken and prawns , the noodles had weird taste from the sauce they used , prawns they were only 2 inside, chicken didn’t taste like chicken, who knows what kind of meet they used! My boyfriend noodles were extremely spicy that he couldn’t eat it, for all this we payed £30 !

Google Bad Review (2):  We choose ULI for a takeaway as we are looking for Asian food that is a bit better quality than the usual. ULI looked just the place. Unfortunately it was far from it. I ordered coconut curry with chicken. On the Deliveroo menu it says medium or spicy. There was no way to make that choice on the website but I thought I didn't mind either. In fact it had no spice in it whatsoever. I had to add some chilli oil. The worst part was it was sooooo sweet, I tried to dampen it down with lime juice but it made little difference. With rice it tasted like sickly sweet rice pudding with vegetables and chicken in it. Very disappointing.
