There has been almost zero communication from management. When I visited in person I was told to just forward bank details and the money would sorted. This hasn't been the case and we are still waiting, despite emailing and calling numerous times.

I will update if we do (or do not) receive our money.

Edit: The Quarters contacted me after seeing this review and they have now refunded the money.

Google Bad Review (2):  There is nobody on reception when you need anything. There is no security. There has been an ongoing toilet problem with leaks in the rooms and carpets are wet but they don’t do anything about it. They make rules up as they go along and say it is in the contract when it isn’t (eg it doesn’t say anywhere you are not allowed friends over but apparently when your friends travel to London to stay with you they get turned away at the gate due to new made up rules). There was also no hot water for 4 days a few weeks ago and we got little more than an email to say sorry.

A few days ago I got an email saying cozy apartment had cancelled my restervation and I will get a refund within 30 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats bad enough my trip to london is in 4/5 weeks time (23 April) so its left me really struggling to find another hotel that fits in within mu budget! everywhere else is more than double what I paid for the cozy apartment.

THIS HOTEL LEFT ME IN MAJOR PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!

Now I have spent the last 2 days searching for a hotel for with vacancies for a good price when this cosy hotel pops up as available!!!!!!!! But is £1037 for 1 night.. this is almost 10 times what I had paid previously.

PURE GREED!

I hope this hotel goes out of business!.. Disgusting behaviour

they took a £1000 deposit on a flat they refused to give the address of, they then immediately after receipt of the deposit informed us that the flat was not available for the dates required. they then refuse to refund the money. We will be taking them to the small claims courts.

Google Bad Review (2):  We stayed at Minerva Court on Bowling Green Lane. It was a less than satisfactory experience. Traffic noise and late night partying was very loud. We are a family of four and they gave us only 2 rolls of toilet paper and 1 bar of miniature soap for the 5 days we stayed. The location is too far from a major Tube line which required train changes to get to the heart of London. The internet connection was weak and for 23 Pounds, only one device could be used at a time. Some of the appliances and lamps were too far away from the minimal outlets to be of use. There was a pot to heat water for instant coffee but no outlet in the kitchen to use. Clerkenwell is a nice neighborhood on the outskirts of the tourist areas of London, but we would recommend finding a more hospitable place to stay. The people at the leasing office (Acorn) were all very helpful.

A few days ago I got an email saying cozy apartment had cancelled my restervation and I will get a refund within 30 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats bad enough my trip to london is in 4/5 weeks time (23 April) so its left me really struggling to find another hotel that fits in within mu budget! everywhere else is more than double what I paid for the cozy apartment.

THIS HOTEL LEFT ME IN MAJOR PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!

Now I have spent the last 2 days searching for a hotel for with vacancies for a good price when this cosy hotel pops up as available!!!!!!!! But is £1037 for 1 night.. this is almost 10 times what I had paid previously.

PURE GREED!

I hope this hotel goes out of business!.. Disgusting behaviour

Google Bad Review 1:  When you finally find the place, you understand why it's so cheap
On the good side, the location is great, or at least it was for us and the price was low, 200 pounds for 3 nights. Oh the fridge was big. That's also a good point and the guy who welcomed us the first night was nice, friendly and helpful.

Now should I really list the bad points?
No windows as it was a basement flat (that was not written on the site, hello claustrophobics).
The oven door was broken, the microwave a mess, the sink broken and leaking, the bed sinking, no hot water as the boiler was broken the first night and when it finally worked you couldn't regulate the heat… And what about the toilet, why stairs.. Oh yeah to avoid the bad smells, well geniuses, it didn't work…

Apartment is quiet and looks nice, we really love it here – The only problem with living here is that the flats seem to use a ceiling heated system which can be really expensive! Our monthly electricity bill comes out at £300 a month with EDF and were quoted the same with other suppliers.
