Google Bad Review: Clean with friendly staff but my elderly grandfather was placed here temporarily by the council whilst awaiting assessment and within 4 days he had a broken hip which no one at the home could tell me when or how it happened. He said he fell out of bed which makes me angry because I'd offered the home a bed guard but they refused is because its not their policy to use them. Burrows house insisted that my grandfather was found “Sliding out of bed” but that it “wasn't anything to be concerned about” because, ” they had checked him and he was fine and they had seen him walk to the toilet”. The end result for my grandfather was however a broken hip and 6 weeks later he still is in hospital, bed-bound and now requiring a nursing home. For a so called professional care establishment that are supposed to be delivering quality care to the elderly they have failed my 98 year old grandfather miserably by not keeping him safe.
