Google Bad Review 1: On the 27th May ‘22, I arranged for Marc and Daniel to move my belongings from one place, being a development with cameras and security, to another place also having CCTV. As this was the second time I was using this service, Marc beforehand promised me a discount.
Marc knew very well from his arrival in the first building that he would be handling a 50” 4K Smart TV – which obviously requires attentive handling. We wrapped this TV up in a duvet and made Marc well aware that there is a TV wrapped inside it. Marc didn’t have an issue nor concerns with the way we wrapped it, so as far as I’m concerned, we did our diligence by ensuring it was wrapped with care.
Mark and Daniel loaded the van with all our belongings, and them being movers we expected they knew what they were doing. Once Marc and Daniel unloaded the van and helped put our belongings in our new place, we realised that the TV screen got damaged and had deep cracks in it.
I was in shock and devastation, I was really upset and tearful by this. As Marc charges by the hour, he charged us £250. I reminded Marc that, aside from the damage done to my TV, he promised me a discount anyway as I’m using his service for the second time, so we paid in total £225 via bank transfer to Marc’s account details. He then offered to dispose of the TV for us along with the remote, what he has done with the TV I have no idea.
The fact that I had to remind this person of the discount he promised is appalling enough, but it gets worse.
On the 30th May, I contacted Marc over WhatsApp message and very politely explained how devastated I was and politely asked him for compensation for the TV damage as at the end of the day, I trusted him to handle my belongings especially the expensive items like the TV. Marc point-blank ignored my message.
If you have things need moving which have very little value, by all means use this service. But anything expensive, do NOT trust these people to handle them. The title ‘We Move All Removals’ is severely inaccurate. Marc clearly has no sense of professionalism and takes absolutely no responsibility for severe damage done under his OWN care. His approach towards this was selfish, inconsiderate and frankly outrageous. Use movers with more professionalism and better sense when handing expensive items.
