Google Bad Review 1:  I was Deputy Manager at Hartley House before Eleanor Care took over. I loved my job until the change. I had no support for 11 days during a Covid outbreak in the home, I was left to run it with only 2 other care staff and agency workers that could not speak English or had any clue how to support residents with dementia. I begged for help as after working over 120 hrs in 8 days, sleeping in the office upstairs and going above and beyond I was exhausted, as were my fellow colleagues. I was signed off and then had no choice but to resign. Eleanor Care showed no compassion or emotion to the fact that residents were dying and we needed help desperately. I would never work for this company and I certainly would not send any loved ones to be in their care. It was a disgraceful of them and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Google Bad Review (2):  This is a review on the Eleanor Care's Surbiton branch. I was initially interested in the job for the opportunity to look after elderly people, after the death of my grandmother. They sent me to first aid training, but after receiving the certificate, they told me that they would not give it to me until I have worked for them for six months. Then after telling them that I can work on weekends, they gave me work on Saturday and Sunday both from 7AM until 7PM (although I ended up working until 9PM). Furthermore, since the job requires you to travel to and from clients' houses, they should have paid for transport, and they did not! I also have not been paid nor have I received a payslip. I am not happy about their management. I left after those two days and I strongly recommend anyone who is considering work there not to do so.

Google Bad Review 1:  I was Deputy Manager at Hartley House before Eleanor Care took over. I loved my job until the change. I had no support for 11 days during a Covid outbreak in the home, I was left to run it with only 2 other care staff and agency workers that could not speak English or had any clue how to support residents with dementia. I begged for help as after working over 120 hrs in 8 days, sleeping in the office upstairs and going above and beyond I was exhausted, as were my fellow colleagues. I was signed off and then had no choice but to resign. Eleanor Care showed no compassion or emotion to the fact that residents were dying and we needed help desperately. I would never work for this company and I certainly would not send any loved ones to be in their care. It was a disgraceful of them and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Google Bad Review (2):  This is a review on the Eleanor Care's Surbiton branch. I was initially interested in the job for the opportunity to look after elderly people, after the death of my grandmother. They sent me to first aid training, but after receiving the certificate, they told me that they would not give it to me until I have worked for them for six months. Then after telling them that I can work on weekends, they gave me work on Saturday and Sunday both from 7AM until 7PM (although I ended up working until 9PM). Furthermore, since the job requires you to travel to and from clients' houses, they should have paid for transport, and they did not! I also have not been paid nor have I received a payslip. I am not happy about their management. I left after those two days and I strongly recommend anyone who is considering work there not to do so.
