Google Bad Review: To review London Coaching Group fairly I wanted to split this review into their quality of business advice and level of service.
On their business advice, in 9 months of being coached by Amol our quarterly Gross Profit increased by about 20% but our Operating Profit Margin decreased by about 50%. Essentially as a service business we were doing more work but making less money. It is through this lens that their offering should be seen. In their sales pitch Shweta and her team guarantee that you will make back their fee (£2000+ per month) through an increase in gross profits in the first 6 months. To ensure this happens they have a huge focus on training (much of it good) and investing in sales growth but do not get you to look at how this effects profit. This is done without a long term strategy to recover your margin and maintain growth and we were left to discover the long term detrimental effects of this ourselves.
Their service is equally poor. In spite of charging £1000 per hour Amol often came into meetings under prepared, and with little new business strategies to offer. That is not to say that he is not a sound business brain himself with much to offer, and without doubt the advice he gave was always useful, it is just it always felt that he did not have the time to prep sessions and take the time to fully understand the business. In the end the relationship broke down as I had a couple of coaching sessions moved by them last minute and on one occasion Amol was not present when I arrived but was in another office. Their customer service at this point was appalling and I felt very badly treated. We tried a reconciliation with Shweta taking over as my coach but that turned into a character assassination of me which felt quite odd as we had never had a conversation previously. After that I decided to part ways with them.
In summary if you are looking for some short term sales and systems training then this is a good place to start. Just don't expect Amol, Shweta and their team to have the time or inclination to really get under the hood of your business. There are better independent business advisers out there who can give additional time and more comprehensive business strategies for the same level of investment.
