Google Bad Review 1:  I stopped at the hotel Sunday night 12/02/2017, I got there at 19:00 requiring a good night sleep from a hard days shopping. ONLY TO FIND THE HOTEL HAD NO HOT WATER!! I had a cold shower Sunday night before I went to bed and Monday morning before I left the hotel. just to confirm I still have not received a refund!!! talk about service!! not even a one star.

Google Bad Review 1:  Awful experience!! First, I arrived after an 8 hour flight, took a shower that was freezing cold! Said they would fix it while I was out, when I came back it was still not working and had to switch rooms at 2 am. Dinner at the restaurant the next night was awful, not what I ordered and awful service. I spilled a tiny bit of juice on the sheet and noticed it on the 5th day it was still there! 5 days without cleaning sheets once!! All they did was offer a free drink. 4 times my key card stopped working, best was when I ran out to get coffee in the hall with no shoes and a towel in my head and got locked out and had to go to the lobby like that! There is no front desk, randomly someone is by a computer but not often and servers don’t know how to help, didn’t even know how to give me a copy of my receipt when I checked out AND I asked the receipt ironist to have it printed for me when I went to get a new key with a towel and no shoes on. There are also no phones in the rooms to call the front desk Incase you need anything. This is basically a nice hostel with awful service and in a funky area of London. Pay a tiny bit more for a MUCH better experience!!

Good evening.

This is an email of complaint and I politely request you to correspond further with me before I decide to post what happened to me. I believe that you can rectify the very unprofessional disposition I was subjected to when I stayed with you last week Wednesday 25th Sep, 2019 – Name: Burlow

I shall bullet-point my complaint:

• The room I stayed made me feel very uncomfortable due to me being forcefully subjected to a ridiculously large image of three ladies sitting under a sign in Brick Lane. You may call this art but I don’t want to continually view this imposing sight in my room. It is supposed to be relaxing and they were “staring down at me!”.
• The next morning, 9.10am, I read on the door that Tea and Coffee is supplied via a machine in the hall. I made my way there and there were no cups (see image)
• I decided to head to Reception and ask for a cup but the lifts took ages and I was running out of time
• Eventually, the lift opened and three Cleaners were in there. One got out and I said “Oh, great. Can you help me please: there’s no cups left for a tea and…..” as I was speaking she pushed – yes! pushed!! – passed me and said “I no help you”. I was stunned. She continued to walk off toward the direction of the machine and into the room next door when I turned to the other two Cleaners remaining in the lift and asked them what I’m supposed to do/where can I get a cup? They replied “We don’t know” and “We can’t help you” and with that, the lift doors shut. They didn’t try to stop the doors, help me or anything. They were no apologies or assistance and their posture was slouched and non-considerate to my request.
• I’m fuming at this point and wondered whether the first exceptionally rude woman was going to open a cupboard to fill up the cups. I found her cleaning the room. She wouldn’t make eye contact with me, help me further or direct me as to what I’m supposed to do. She “ignored” me.
• I had to forgo the Tea due to time running out
• I went to speak to the Manager (see attachment) who was serving someone. I waited and said “Hi, I wish to make a complaint about some very rude staff you have working here and the fact you have no cups and clearly no system in place to replace them”. To which he replied that he’ll be with me in a minute. So, I sat and waited.
• But, I wasn’t expecting this: More and more people came to check-out and he was seeing to them all whilst I was sat there at the bar, within arms-length, waiting for him. I interrupted him: “Excuse me, I’ve been waiting here for over 5 minutes and you keep serving everyone else!” And he actually said “One more minute”. The guy he was attending looked at me like I was in the wrong but I was livid at this point and now I’m being told to wait again…for what? How long does this Manager think I have?
• I’ve stayed in many places and have NEVER been treated like this
• My partner was with me and witnessed the whole thing. We had to leave due to an appointment and I said I would email, hence

Concluding, I would like either our night and parking refunded in total or a complimentary night plus parking and dinner with you (assuming you don’t treat me or anyone else like this again)

You also need to sack those rude staff (3 Cleaning ladies) and put your Manager on a Managers course – he was so unhelpful.

You might be Eco-friendly but you are not friendly.

Google Bad Review (2):  They go on about their beds and how great their beds are. I booked a double which their site advertises as having a king size bed (with a small percentage having single or double beds). I got the single beds. I'm over 6 foot tall.
Be very careful and make sure they don't rip you off like they did me. Their service was cold when I confronted them about this also.
Oh good location, though.

Google Bad Review 1:  We arrived at the hotel from 2.3 to 8.3 A family with a child and a baby There is no cleaning in the rooms even though we put a sign on the door handle. We asked at the reception why they did not clean the room? He explained to us that we should ask specifically for room cleaning, ok so we asked for the reception, but unfortunately the household replied cheekily “We do not clean every day”, even though we explained that we have two children, and at the reception said they cleaned the room anyway, but it was not cleaned !!!

Google Bad Review (2):  (Translated by Google) Unfortunately going by the reviews, the aggregate of the external freezer behind the room. The next morning we could ask for another room at the reception, which is continuously understaffed and that morning there was no one to be seen. Then put your earplugs in and make the most of it, as a saving grace the breakfast was free. We are talking about a completely looted buffet with only half of the promised offer. After the second night the room is still not cleaned either.

Helaas op de reviews afgegaan, het aggregaat van de externe vriezer achter de kamer. Om een andere kamer te vragen konden we volgende morgen naar de receptie, die is continu onderbemand en die ochtend was er niemand te bekennen. Dan maar oordoppen in en er het beste van maken, als goedmaker was het ontbijt gratis. Dan hebben we het over een compleet leeggeplunderd buffet met maar de helft van het beloofde aanbod. Na de tweede nacht is de kamer ook nog steeds niet schoongemaakt.

Google Bad Review 1:  Booked and payed for a double room for myself and partner. On arrival at 16:30 waiting 30 minutes as no rooms were available. They eventually found 1 which was a disabled room and advised me they were fully booked and had nothing else. They said the systems accepted my booking online even though they had no rooms and this is a problem they constantly have.. you should have not accepted my payment and updated your systems to FULLY BOOKED or called me! I travelled 2 hours to get to the hotel… I booked on 23rd for 30th. More than enough time to contact me. The worker advised me the disabled room is exactly the same apart from everything is lower and the shower is walk in shower and in fact, overall is bigger. I had no choice but to accept. The worker failed to advise me is that the matress was so thin and completely different. It was a twin room with 2 single beds pushed together! I have never seen such thin mattresses in my life. Worst stay by far. Called the night manager complaining of this as didnt get back to the hotel till late to see this and had to wait till 7am to speak with Erik the manager just to be given a card with an email to make a complaint. Service was awful and hotel was awful.

Google Bad Review (2):  Very poor from start to finish tbh I have stayed in this hotel before and was fantastic but this time very poor breakfast was very poor and was 40min wait and missed our slot for v and a museum so day was messed up room good and beds comfortable and I can not fault the room but the staff are very poor in there job if you need anything or have a complaint they don't want to know badly run but a good location yes I know covid is a thing but poorly run and the staff are not really bothered about anything avoid and go to another premier inn .

Google Bad Review 1:  Would give this 0 stars if I could. Booked Malmasion London for the night before my wedding and wedding night and had the worst service I've received in my life from a hotel. Not only did they over charge us – we paid for a larger room for £90 more per night and it was same size as the other rooms – but there was no hospitality for my groom and I or our guests. They were very rude, made us wait around a lot and on communication with them over email prior to our wedding, they were extremely rude, telling us to book MORE rooms as they would not let us hire out a bigger room for the morning. Not sure why as we gave them a lot of business that weekend. I witnessed them upgrading normal guests in front of me and as said before, there was no hospitality (not that I expect an upgrade for a wedding night but it would be nice gesture). I also left a few things behind in the room by accident and they refused to send them to me due to the small postage cost (it was only a lipstick and a face wash). Definitely ruined my wedding weekend and would not recommend this hotel chain to anyone. What a waste of £400.
