Google Bad Review 1:  I had about 15 cubic yards of builders rubbish to clear from a front driveway. I know this, as have filled up the front garden numerous times during this renovation, and it takes 2 x 7 yard skips to clear it. Rather than get 2 x skips, to save money I arranged a single collection from this company.

They asked for a photo to quote for the job, I sent one over and they estimated it was going to be a full truck load of 14 cubic yards – about what I expected. They quoted less than the cost of the two skips, so I went ahead with it.

When I arrived at the site, the rubbish looked almost the same as it had the day before so I asked the builders if they had been. They said they had. I assumed they must of already had a mainly full truck and would be coming back to collect the rest.

I didn't receive any further contact from them until the accounts person called to collect payment. The booking form says “The truck team will confirm the exact volume and price on arrival” – this never happened, instead they informed me that I HAD TO PAY ALMOST TWICE WHAT THEY HAD QUOTED WHEN THEY HAD REMOVED LESS THAN HALF OF THE TOTLE RUBBISH. i.e This is going to end up costing over 4 x what I had been told.

If there is this much of discrepancy between quote and actual cost, they absolutely should not have gone ahead with the job without getting the go ahead from the person paying the bill, as I would not have approved it, and would instead have booked my two skips as usual.

I now still have at least a skips full of rubbish I need to clear.
