Google Bad Review 1: I have always had a brilliant service at the NHS which I have used twice a year for the past 10 years.
Today I had the most unpleasant chat with the receptionist who talked to me in a very bossy manner and talked to the doctor on my behalf without letting the doctor know of my true medical situation.
It is upsetting to see receptionists acting as doctors without helping someone that calls or allowing them to talk to their doctor or giving the doctor the message top call back.
Frustrating…Disappointing…

Google Bad Review (2): Receptionist there, one of them i'm not sure who, is extremely rude. Always know if it is her on the phone and when I was left outside waiting for nearly an hour for my appointment, she tried brushing me off, telling me that I was late.
Extremely hard to get through on the phone. Maybe a second line or voicemail service would better suit all of us patients who depend on this surgery. Plus, the 3 minute intro by Dr. Claire Matthews is super long – just put use through on the phone and reduce the amount of people waiting to get through!

Google Good Review: I am very fortunate that I am in excellent health for an “over 50” so I don't often call or visit the surgery. However, when I do I am always impressed by the professional and helpful service provided by the team at Horndean surgery. Recently I needed help with my Covid Pass and the the team (especially one of the ladies on reception) was very patient and willing to assist me. Thank you very much!
