Google Bad Review 1:  Utterly useless. I booked a genius appointment which turned out to be at this store. The guy told me the problem was that I used social media apps on my phone and they could restore it for me for £20! As I’d already restored the phone twice myself this seemed an odd suggestion. Are the istores anything to do with Apple? They seem to exist purely to extort money out of people for things that are otherwise free.

Google Bad Review (2):  This should not be a certified Apple products repair shop. It’s a shame I can leave a zero star review.

So I booked the 15:20 appointment today to change the battery on my phone through apple’s website and the staff told me that the this shop has its own policies that they follow apart from apple’s re customer service and that Apple doesn’t know how busy they are when they let customers book appointments with them. If that was the case they should had mentioned it in the appointment confirmation email or rang me in advance to update me accordingly.

Instead he asked me to book an appointment directly with them as they “couldn’t guarantee that they can change the battery today or tomorrow”. Last time I had to change a battery on a previous phone in an Apple store it took literally 10 minutes and now I had to take 1hr off work to get there for nothing.

If apples customer service was like that everywhere I would t had any Apple products.
