Google Bad Review 1:  I am not usually one to complain however, I am really unhappy with my visit to (XXX). I previously went in for a quotation to get some work done and was given a fair estimate of approximately £68 which seemed reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done. I proceeded to book an appointment for the coming weekend.

During my time there all was well, staff were very friendly etc however, about half way through the process I was informed that some extra products were needed to achieve the look I wanted, no increase in price was declared or the fact that the time for this procedure would increase. I ended up staying in the salon for 5 hours and when I got up to pay I find out that I was now being charged just over £110. I was shocked!

Last note to add, I have my own hairdresser to cut my hair as standard and recently went in for my regular cut and was told that the colour was poorly done, patchy in certain places and was told “this is what you get when you buy cheap box dye”

I couldn’t understand where the extra cost (almost double of the quote) had come from especially as this quote wasn’t over the phone but in person where the work was clear for all to see. Needless to say I wouldn't recommend anyone going here, which can also be shown by the fact that another customer was in an argument on the salon floor with the manager/owner about a poor quality job on her hair, she was in floods of tears. Do not go here, go anywhere else.
