We were then told we would get a call from the vets where his ashes would be taken to say when they are ready to be picked up.

We have not heard anything. It is now Wednesday afternoon.

I phoned up and was told “you had done your part” without even checking and for us to call vets. This is below par customer service. Washing your hands or the situation.

The answer should have been “let me look into this for you, and I'll get back to you.”

Then your representative should check the records make sure everything is done properly and call the vets if necessary, to then call us.

We shouldn't be left chasing. You choose to work with the vets, so you should be joined up working well with each other.

I was also hung up on when I asked for the person's name I spoke to in the phone.

Poor. Especially when your dealing with people who are upset and dealing with loss.

Yes the error MIGHT not be with you. But would still expect some effort from you to help out things right.

It's just the lazy attitude, which has gotten to me.

FB Last Post Text:  Sevenoaks Chamber Hosting – July 2022 After a 2 year break from hosting a Sevenoaks Chamber Event by Sevenoaks Chamber of Commerce due to COVID, we are back. In true Welham Jones style we joined hands with the new Bluebell Cemetery in Halstead to showcase who we are and what we do. Bluebell opened in June 2019 and we have been using them ever since, so it seemed fitting that we should come together for such an event. We decided to shake things up a bit and move away from …the typical presentation talks, any one fancy a go at the ‘Generation Game!!!’… The first go was Welham Jones, we showed the audience our attention and level to detail when it comes to carrying out a funeral. We carried a (fake weighted) coffin into the chapel and placed it on the catafalque flawlessly. Four kind volunteers were then called upon to carry out the same procedure. We gave them a briefing on what to expect and how to carry. With one volunteer saying, ‘OMG it’s so heavy’. Some hiccups along the way but overall, they did really well. The point to this is what you are wondering? As a business we strive to give a personal service, we go the extra mile, our attention to detail is second to none and we allow families to have as much or as little involvement in the process as they wish. It is their loved one’s funeral, and it must be done right for them. No funeral is the same, and we want to make sure each family has the celebration of life they would want without any worries. Google Bad Review (2):  Unfortunately I cannot recommend Brockwell vets after my recent experiences with them. For two years I took my cat there for treatment of her renal condition. In December 2013 the vet identified what turned out to be a malignant cancer on my cat's stomach. However, for some reason they did not inform me about their observations.

By the time my cat's symptoms had become pronounced, and the cancer diagnosed by another vet (by this time I had moved), she was in a perilous condition and had to be put down within a week of diagnosis.

A spokesperson from Brockwell vets has explained to me that cancers such as this are generally untreatable. They also noted that they asked me to return for a subsequent check-up.

However I do not understand why I only learned of their suspicions about my cat's cancer after it had reached a critical condition (and when a receptionist consulted the vet's notes at my request). Why did they not voice their concerns to me, and give me a chance to act in the best interests of my beloved pet?

After leaving the item with Chris for plating we have had no contact from him. In four weeks we made two calls to him for updates and on both occasions he said the work has not been done and he's busy. The last call confirmed it will be done by the date of our agreed collection one week later. His words ‘it will be done by then'. Upon collection on the agreed date, we are informed its not been done and they have been busy.

Google Bad Review (2):  After reading lots of positive good reviews I thought this is a company/person I can trust to make bespoke pieces in memory of my dad for my two brothers and myself.
I commissioned 3 rings containing his ashes to be replicated from a ring my father wore his whole life, which is a very simple signet ring with engraving to be copied as it was on my fathers ring. After placing the order Chris chose to ignore a few simple questions and chose to only answer what he liked, I thought ah maybe he’s a busy guy and would touch base closer to the time of making the rings, that didn’t happen all I got was an e mail where he could sent the rings to, I replied with the address and requested a photo before sending so that if there was to be an issue it could be quickly rectified as I’d waited +3 months from payment.
Chris again chose to ignore my request and just went ahead and shipped them out bearing in mind he obviously read my request as the e mail contained the postal address.

Anyways what I received was nothing like what I’d requested and could only be described as looking like a bubble gum machine rings with deep CNC engraving nothing like my request. They look horrific, I was absolutely gutted.
I then emailed Chris with my complaints which he didn’t seem to bothered about and said he thought that it would be better the way he did it, come on I wanted a replica not what he liked anyways if you want a piece to remember your loved one I recommend doing a deeper search.

Absolutely gutting seeing jewellery contains your loved one that’s so so poor.
