Google Bad Review 1:  Awful…. food and service. So quick to take the money upfront. We were not informed about the kitchen closing at 8.45pm. We were a group of friends who had met afyer 2 yrs (since covid). We had starters and got up to have our main meal at 9pm only to find there was no food expect a few left overs and no desserts except the ice cream. When we spoke to a manager she told us someone should have come to our table to let us know the kitchen was closing soon. No one had Informed us of this at any point.
She then told us she would go to the kitchen and see what she could do…. and never returned for a further 15 mins. At around 9.20pm another supervisor came to our table showing concern when we explained what had happened he told us there were signs telling us the restaurant closes at 9.30pm. Management did not care… turned their backs and walked away.
The food is also of extremely poor quality and selection. Would never ever return or recommend anyone to go to Cosmo in Romford!

Google Bad Review (2):  Went to cosmos on July 30th for my friends dad's birthday and I was disgusted. The food wasn't cooked or it was cold or really dried out as though it had been sat there all week, the staff were miserable, kids were running everywhere without parents and we're sticking there fingers in the deserts and tasting them then putting them back for example the jelly and myself and my family spent the next two days with food poisoning and we chose different foods there but still ended stuck on the toilet , which reminds me the toilets stank and we're not clean , there was no toilet tissue and plenty of unaccompanied children and since the layout allows any one male or female to walk in I made sure I accompanied my children at all times. They said if my children were under 4ft 11 they ate half price seriously a charge on height are you kidding and as for the 1 and a half hour time limit to eat your food that's a joke and they do time you as the party I was with were seated around six ish and by half 7 the staff were constantly hanging around although they never said anything you could tell they wanted us gone won't be visiting again

Google Bad Review 1:  I don’t usually write reviews but our experience at Lucky Cat was bad enough that I feel obligated to warn others. We are on vacation from the US and chose Lucky Cat over other similar restaurants in the area because we’re Gordon Ramsey fans. Also the concept is fun.

We ordered our drinks as soon as we arrived and they didn’t come out until after all of the courses came out. It was an hour before we got a drink and by that time we didn’t even want them. It wasn’t for a lack of trying either – we’d ask each person that brought a plate of food for more water (or a drink we ordered) and each one gave a confused look and said they’d look into it.

The food was good – especially the duck. However, it felt like we were bothering the staff trying to get anything drink with the meal. I asked for the check and even that was hard to come by. Very odd experience and an overall disappointing for the price point.

Google Bad Review 1:  Terrible service. Gave us a terrible table despite other better seating available. Was our anniversary dinner and told them in advance but they didn’t care, even when I asked them there and then.

Would have been forgivable if the food was better. Mediocre food at best, worth half the price. Cocktails look better than they taste tbh. In particular the 1666 was horrendous but the presentation was cool I guess.

Avocado burger was nice and so was the tempura prawns. Tried numerous other dishes and they were all meh.

Save your money, better of going waga’s tbh

Google Bad Review 1:  If I could rate this zero stars I would!! Horrific service!! We went here for a bite to eat whilst waiting for an attraction ordered our food and waited for our number to be called, my friend collected the food whilst I found a table outside. When I checked the food the order was completely wrong so I went in to enquire. The lady I spoke to was extremely rude and told me it's my fault for picking up the wrong boxes and blamed me for others having to wait 15 minutes for their food because we had taken theirs, she told me I had one simple number to remember and why couldn't I remember the number. I asked to speak to the manager and told her that she was unnecessarily shouting at me and she advised me she was the manager!!! I have never in my life had such rude service, we had a very heated argument as I told her she should not be the manager of any establishment..extremely rude! Told me I was stupid because I couldn't remember the number when in actual fact she had given the wrong boxes with the wrong order! I will never ever eat here again. Demanded my money back to which she shorted us anyway! Do not eat here!!!

Their service is horrendous, they made us wait outside inspite of having empty chairs, clearly not reserved either. They still take cash in the post pandemic era, definitely something fishy. The food was the worst. I have never had pad Thai served with char grilled chicken !!!! And never had drunken fried rice that tasted sweet and contained char grilled chicken, looks like they had plenty of that left in their kitchen. This place has miles to go to reach their levels of 4 years back as I'm never going back and definitely suggesting people to think twice……

Google Bad Review 1:  very disappointed about the Chicken Katsu Curry, too thin and too hard to eat. The waitresses just said sorry without even showing any truly care about it, we asked to talk to the manager and he kindly explained to us that this is the way how they prepare this dish, not like in Kokoro’s or Wagamama’s that they use a chicken breast where you can actually see and taste the real piece of chicken.
He took this dish off the bill as we weren’t happy about it, which we appreciate. Good environment though, and lovely decoration, but also disappointed about the response of the two waitresses, when they ask for your feedback and you say that you are not happy is not for them to say sorry and walk away, it is to find how your experience is going and make sure your are happy about everything. That is a key point to get a good customer retention.

Still wishing them the best. Reviews are for improvement only

Google Bad Review (2):  Unfortunately, we had one of the worst takeaways from this restaurant.

We ordered two Westholme Wagyu beef stakes. They came raw in sealed bags. Although we fully expected cooked meals, this is okay. The menu actually says all steaks come READY TO COOK. Just make sure you read it properly before ordering. That's not the end of the world… But one of the steaks is off and oozes out black liquid. This is definitely NOT OK. I may expect this from a cheap, dodge supermarket but not from a restaurant. To make it even more interesting, we had to wait for over an hour for this. Okay, we ordered two side dishes, but C'mon! Over an hour for two uncooked steaks?! This is insane.

This is a new restaurant, and we've never tried it. Our friends always rave about it, so we thought let's give it a go. I'm sorry to say that it's a total failure. To be fair, we've never dined at this restaurant because of the pandemic. It could be a different experience but judging by what we have encountered so far, I don't think we'll ever try it again.

The food is bland, which is the exact opposite of the native cuisine.
If you absolutely have no choice, order the sweet corn cakes, they are good everywhere.

Google Bad Review (2):  There's a few things to remember before eating here:
-food is tasty
-portions are very small
-it's expensive
-they don't take cash
-they want you to pay via scanning QR code on your phone
-they look at you suspiciously if you tell them your phone doesn't scan QR (the waitress looked rudely at us and told us that all phones scan QR codes nowadays) so be careful if you don't have a smartphone
-they don't take cash and you have to politely ask them to pay by card, which they don't like either. Essentially they're one step ahead towards a cashless society, which makes this place unworthy of my time and money.
-overall a bad experience, 0 respect towards customers who PAY to eat here.
-I don't recommend this place, there's tons of way better options out there.
