Google Bad Review 1:  Extremely shocked with the customer service from specsavers.

Ordered glasses on 20th November. Called a week later they hadn’t arrived. Rang a week after and they hadn’t arrived and no one had any extra information on when they would come. Then I emailed customer service 2 times using the online form and both times no response from the team despite saying ‘we will get back to you in 48 hours’. I’ve now waited three weeks and had new glasses made elsewhere as I can’t wait so long for them. I want a refund but since no one responds to me, I don’t know to do. Essentially they have just taken my money and not given me anything and it’s been three weeks! Go to boots instead, they are much more reliable.

EDIT: I have received a response to this asking me to complete their web form which I have completed twice in the past two weeks and received NO response to. Extremely terrible customer service, would never visit here again, and I want a refund on my money.

Google Bad Review (2):  Unbelievable idiots …staff told me i will be able to pick up my glasses in 10 days. Took them 15. In the 11 day i walk in to ask about my glasses and the guy that was front of the house at the time explained the fact that they are still waiting for the frames to come. Don't really believe what he was saying cause i choose a frame from the ones that they have in the shop so i asked for a refund wich was not accepted. Anyway i have the glasses now and the quality is pretty low for a 15 days of waiting. Since is not the first pair i could not notice the difference between the previous ones that i bought 2 years ago and the waiting time was 1 hour and 40 min.

Google Bad Review (2):  Infuriating, they're a type of business that thinks its acceptable to waste your time. i had an appointment at 4:10, tell me why I'm waiting nearly 40 minutes. They double booked an appointment, so the woman before me was too busy picking out which eye colour she wants to borrow, green or grey? The unprofessionalism alone, the two obnoxious guys at the front desk spent the whole time giggling, one even laughing at my name giving me unfortunate flashbacks to being in girls school. No apology as I left the place. It gives me more of a rundown family business whose only customers are their cousins , the kids running around headless and one token guy who kept walking around with the flashlight on his head, blinding us for free. I guess the only chance of actually getting an eye test. I took 2 buses to get here, the outside looks like it's falling apart paint chipped, the door handle being rusted metal, enough to give you tetanus. I literally had apprehension before going in, I felt the unfortunate urge to hold tighter onto my purse. Thanks for wasting my time. I'll be sure to tell my other blind friends to walk past because I nearly did.

EDIT: They keep harassing me with their calls from yesterday to today. Beware of this place.

Google Bad Review 1:  Re-made my glasses literally 3 times and visited the shop 10 times and i still yet to get my refund! The first time, they cut the lens with the wrong focal point. I paid extra for a pair of Zeiss lens. It was such a low-tech mistake and they should have QC-ed it before they sent back to the store. The shopkeeper keeps blaming me bringing prescriptions from another company repeatedly but it is completely irrelevant to their own mistakes. So they offered to re-do the eye test and re-make the glasses. It took me another extra 1.5 hour on another day to do the eye test which obviously share very similar results. They made the 2nd pair of glasses that the index of the material was not suitable that the chromatic aberration was very horrible! I couldn’t even see car plates and buses on the streets. They kept asking me to wear them for a couple of days for my eyes to get used to it. It was not working at all. I went back again. The ‘experienced guy’ asked me to bring my old glasses. It was another visit again. They examined my old and new glasses, and checked my eyes again. Then they made the 3rd pair of glasses but there were still chromatic aberration that i could see it in every direction. I went back and asked for help. They said they still wanted to change the lens! I asked for a refund and they said only one person is able to authorise a refund and he is not present until 2-3days later. I went there 2 days later before the shop closes and they said that person with the authority left 1.5 hours before and blaming me not organising with them. I called the next day asking about my refund situation and another staff said authorisation can be done remotely even without that guy being present! I’ve been wearing prescription glasses for over 25 yrs and this has been the worst service I have ever encountered!
