Google Bad Review 1: Thank goodness for the lovely receptionist who today managed to get our cat down after she got through an open hole in the ceiling. Whilst we were waiting in the car after taking our cat for her yearly check we received a call to say they were having work done in the surgery and there was an open hole in the roof and the cat had climbed up and was wondering around the roof of the practice and quite possibly many other ships on the parade!!
After a lot of upset and struggling the receptionist managed to get her down by grabbing her.
This whole should never have been left open!! The ceiling is not that high and very easy for most cats to jump up there!!
This is now the second bad experience we have had with the same male vet at this practice. The first was last year when after getting the cat we took her to be checked and he very roughly handled her whilst trying to decide if she was a boy or girl.
After sending us home with a boy we found out at our next check up with the lovely Caroline that she was in fact a girl.
Because we were unable to go inside today due to covid I did not know she was being seen by the male vet.
We are all still quite traumatised by this experience and will be thinking seriously now about changing vets but will certainly never ever allow her not to be seen by anyone other than Caroline. The lady in reception whose name I didn't get, I can't thank you enough for returning our lovely cat to us.

Google Bad Review (2): The five star reviews mostly pertain to Dora as the veterinary surgeon at Mill Hill Medivet. Dora has not been at this branch for a long time. We have two cats and had been with Medivet Mill Hill for over four years but were increasingly concerned about their mercenary charging policy. After being charged £108.00 for one booster vaccination and a cursory examination lasting less than 60 seconds we have finally left never to return. The care may be said to be satisfactory but the charging is top of the range and the mark up on medication equally so. We have now moved on and it pays to shop around.
