Google Bad Review 1: My partner and I sold a flat in Cobbold Road through these people. As a warning to others DO NOT SELL YOUR HOUSE TO BRENT COUNCIL THROUGH DEXTERS !!! They have absolutely no contact with anyone at 14B or the council. It took eight months, a price drop and then after we let our tenants go at their request TWO MONTHS of no rent but still paying a mortgage. I’m not going to name names but the manager gave us such a load of lies ie. “I’m going to go to Brent offices and not leave until someone speaks to me!”.
He said this twice but never went. The girl dealing with us gave me the names of two people for ME to contact at Brent as she had been trying for weeks to get though with no success. One of these people she gave me hadn’t worked for Brent for months! This same girl grossly overvalued our property and when I challenged her she said “its not my fault I haven’t actually seen the property! “ They were a nightmare from start to bitter finish. Be warned.

UPDATE: I was asked to write a review of their service which I was happy to do at the time but things have significantly changed since. A word of advice for anyone using this agency for potentially buying a property, make sure you receive everything in writing! We found a lack of response to emails, but questions were answered by phone. This was clearly a tactic to avoid having anything written down by the agent so responses could be denied later in the process. This is what has happened to us and we are now so far out of pocket because it. I hope this reviews helps so that no-one else finds themselves in the same situation.
