Google Bad Review 1: A completely useless and demoralising experience. They advised me to self refer to another service at their earliest convenience, seemingly passing on the burden of offering any sort of help from place to place.
I was told, in my first and only telephone assessment, that they believed that I found it difficult to recognise the cognitive processes behind my feelings of anxiety- I was told that they needed time to discuss my case with a supervisor. I was phoned back 2 days later and was told that I was unsuitable for CBT (the only treatment that was really offered to me, as they recommended that I seek counselling through my university) and that they could not help me.
It was totally disheartening and upsetting, especially coming from a space that is meant to help those who are already mentally ill and have put in the time and effort (which are not easy to muster when unwell) to seek help for themselves.
Disappointing in almost every way, but not surprising.

Google Bad Review (2): Terrible, uncaring service…. turned me away when I needed help for panic attacks / Agoraphobia because I had ADHD. Despite only wanting help with my panic attacks, I was discriminated because of my other issues. They told me to go somewhere else even less equipped than them where I would have to pay despite me being entitled to nhs treatment. Absolutely DISGRACEFUL service. They also called and spoke about me with another service behind my back without my permission breaching confidentiality.
