Google Bad Review 1: I’m sad to write this review, but hopefully it’ll help other dog owners and their pets. VV were good, albeit expensive, until they recommended my 6 month old rescue from Romania got neutered straight away. He was anxious, of course, being a rescue from a kill shed who had only been rescued two months ago. They knew this. I’d had him about 6 weeks when the vet suggested strongly that he should be neutered. So we did. The dog’s behaviour has gotten so much worse since. The behaviouralist has told me it’s because of the neutering. Apparently it makes anxious dogs worse. Now he fear barks and it’s turning to aggression. He may have to wear a muzzle. He’s becoming aggressive to children. It’s ruined the wonderful time we were having together and the progress we were making. I may have to give him up. It’s devastating. If you have a rescue dog, please wait as long as you need to, to settle him and make sure he’s at his emotional strongest before you neuter him. Don’t let a vet, that’s motivated by earning money (I’ve spent circa £1200 with VV in a few short weeks on neutering, throat swabs, samples etc etc), and make sure you’re getting sound advice before you put your animal through anything that might affect them. I’m devastated that, by following VV’s advice, I’ve hurt my dog so significantly, and it’s getting worse. He was so bad the behaviouralist couldn’t look at him or work with him, and he had to be put on a leash indoors. He was never like this before the operation. It’s so so sad.
