Google Bad Review: This was my first time going private and it was honestly one of the worst experiences I've ever had.
I paid £330 to get a barrier and a filling on a tooth that I knew needed a root canal but Dr Ali suggested that I have other treatments done first and then decide on the root canal later. I went to numerous clinics who all suggested to get a root canal but I decided to go forwards with Angel Smile based on reading all positive reviews on google.
After 2 weeks of getting the treatment done I was still experiencing a lot of sensitivity around the area still, and so, went back for a check-up. Dr Ali then told me I needed to get a root canal but wouldn't tell me why. So after challenging him about it (because he had already taken £330 from me) I wanted to know why a root canal was needed as I will be having to fork out even more money to fix this problem. I explained that this was the treatment I should have received at the start. He then said “I don't understand what you don't understand? Do you need me to write it down on paper for you?” he then drew a diagram of a root canal and wrote £625 next to it.
After seeing this, I knew that I needed to join another dental clinic as I felt patronised by Dr Ali and it honestly felt as though he was just out to take my money.
I cried to the receptionist (Rumana) after the check-up who was really lovely and comforted me. She told me that she'll get the Principal to give me a call the next day.
I did not receive a call and I have joined another dental clinic.
