Google Bad Review 1:  I have stored my items with City Space Storage while I was away traveling. Unfortunately they had a leak and some of my items got damaged. I had paid for insurance and was told that my items were insured at the amount of £2000. The insurance agent just sent me an email that they can reimburse £369. This is ridiculous and I would not recommend anyone to store their items there, especially if you have valuable items !

Google Bad Review (2):  I have used this storage service twice this year and this review is indicative of the experience from those two instances.

First, the positives, great location, convenient access to your unit, and clean facility. Staff typically friendly.

Now the negatives and the reasons for the atypical low rating:

1) I got a quote online for the unit I wanted and got an email with the rates and based on that quote, I made a reservation with a deposit. Had I been given a different quote, I would have chosen a different storage service. They then sent me another quote, at a higher rate for some reason, contradicting the original quote. This is deceptive advertising and what could be best described as “Bait and Switch”. Once in the store, they did not want to honor the original quote I was given. I argued with them for good 20 minutes and eventually they honored it but gave me various excuses on how “they can't do anything about it” before making the price adjustment. Not at all transparent nor honest about the prices and owning up to their misinformation.
2) You're required to give a 2-week notice to vacate. A whole 2-weeks?? I see this as a way to lock you into using their service and making it more likely that you end up paying more than the time you only intend to use the storage for.
3) The place has a water leaking issue. When it rains a lot, there's water leakage and there's a chance if you're unlucky your things will get water damage.

Had it not been for the negative experience and poor management by the staff, I would recommend this service but personally, I cannot.
