Google Bad Review (2): The service was extremely slow and it felt as if the staff were prioritising takeaway orders over customers in the restaurant. It took more than half an hour for our drinks to arrive and over an hour for our pizza to arrive. I wouldn't recommend this place if you have post dinner plans. I left feeling very frustrated and was hurried out of the door by unfriendly staff.

Google Bad Review (2): OMG! It was 11 of us, they got 3 orders wrong. 2 steaks were sent back. The tomato basil salad was basically chopped tomato with one garnish of minuscule basil , no dressing . Sent back. Then there was extra chips and mashed potato. One dish arrived so late everything else was cold. Chaos for drinks because the waitress forgot who ordered what. We had to chase the waiter for water, for dessert order , for the bill. Then he (in very greasy hair) said he can’t split the bill because it would take him an hour! There was no air conditioning, when we asked for a photo a waiter said he doesn’t have time. There was only one young lady who was great, didn’t ask her name. The food wasn’t bad but the service was so horrible that you wouldn’t want to pay 100 £/head for constant chasing of the staff and their refusal and eye rolling. My last time there.

Google Bad Review 1: Utterly disappointing, don’t bother going. We had booked the six course tasting menu for 8pm on a Friday night. We arrived in good time but were told our table wasn’t ready so were sent to the bar. We waited for 20 minutes with no one taking our drinks order – we were just ignored. People seated in the bar after us got seen to quicker. We finally got a drink after asking but then waited another FORTY MINUTES for our table which meant we sat down an hour late at 9pm – apparently they had overbooked the restaurant. What competent restaurant does that?! Dinner was rushed and we had to leave before the last course to catch our last train home. All in all, an awful night as the food didn’t even live up to expectations.

Google Bad Review (2): Terrible food. I had cod for main and it was flavorless. My friends had the beef and oyster pie and salmon (which was completely dry and tasteless) for main. None of the staff asked how was the food so we did not have the opportunity to provide any comment. The waitress was quite impolite when serving the dessert – serving the plates loudly and pouring the sauce over the Victoria cake without asking us beforehand so we couldn't decide how much sauce we wanted, and the cake was messed up before we had a chance to take photos of it.

Overall experience was disappointing and I would not recommend this restaurant. Unless you are just visiting for the view.

Google Bad Review 1: So basically I tried to take my girlfriend on a date to this restaurant for a date to make her feel special, so I checked the opening times online and on their menu it said Monday – Friday 12pm -10pm and I got there at 9:15. We walked into the restaurant and the waiter was on his phone behind the bar which initially I didn’t think he was working there at all. I asked if we could have a table to have food then he replied rudely “we are closed cant you check the opening times before you come?” Then I replied “ l have already and it said you close down at 10” . My girlfriend was really upset and I was not expecting such a bad service from your restaurant at all and this is not how to get more customers at all.

Google Bad Review (2): Massively unhelpful and unfriendly, went in there with 4 people in the whole place, was told they had a booking for 6 people so could not allow us to eat indoors, even though there was so much space inside we could easily have 2 metres in between us and the next people. So they offered us shaking wet tables and benches outside, not really a good dining experience. Wouldn't mind but it was the attitude and tone in which they guy dealt with us that was poor, very poor.

Google Bad Review 1: Came across this lovely looking cafe and decided to go in for some late brunch with a friend of mine.
Upon arrival we were greeted immediately and explained we didn't have a reservation. We were seated instantly, however from then onwards it was nothing but issues.
Our waitress took our order and it took over 20 minutes for one of our drinks to arrive. We then approached the waitress and asked for our other drink which they had forgotten, they then brought a cup of tea and when told that it was meant to be a pot, not a cup we were told that they don't do pots.
Only to then see two tables being served with pots of tea.
The waitress then approached us after a further 15 minutes and apologised that she had nit put our food order through and asked if we could repeat it.
They then brought our food and the order was incorrect. Which meant this had to go back to the kitchen. After a further 15 minutes our food came and I asked for a refill, as I was told I could have one due to them not doing pots of tea despite it being on the menu.
From then on we had to ask the two waitresses four times for a refill which never came. We then asked for the bill and they then finally brought my refill in a pot as we were leaving.
It took roughly an hour and a half to be severed with tea, coffee, juices and toast with smashed avocado and eggs.
We were told that we would be given a discount for the inconvenience but when the bill arrived there was none. So we did ask for some form of discount and thankfully the pot of tea and service charge were removed.
I would understand a delay in a busy place but there were only roughly 5 tables at the time being served and when we left there were 2. Unfortunately this was a really disappointing ans frustrating experience
