Google Bad Review:  BURNT MY BODY WITH LASER!
I went to Dermadoc for full body hair removal treatment, they use cynosure which has two lasers settings one for lighter skin and one for darker.
My first session they used a combination for the darker regions of my body but after this the therapist Nadine told me she will only use the one for ligher skin as it is faster with shorter intervals between each laser zap. By the end of the sessions I had several burns all over my stomach, my back and my legs. All because she used the wrong setting in order to finish the treatment quickly.
I went to the founder Dr. Firhaas, who is the founder of Dermadoc, tried to convince me it was nothing serious and only a natural response of the body to laser even though it had been couple of weeks! The burns started to darken and get hyper-pigmentation and many months later I still have the burn marks all of my body but Dermadoc never sent me the medication they promised to heal the hyper-pigmentation that they had caused.
I consulted another laser practice who confirmed Dermadoc had used the wrong setting on my body to cause this. I demanded a refund for the sessions where the therapist had used the wrong setting but they only gave me a partial refund. They also tried to convince me that they ‘included' my deposit in what I had already paid when I knew they did not.
I would not recommend Dermadoc to anyone! They rush treatments and do care about their clients!

Google Bad Review:  I would highly not recommend this place! My cousin went there to do some blood test. During her appointment she got the information that she has to wait 10 days for the results. She paid £180 for the test and £12 was the cost of taking the blood. After two weeks which is longer that is supposed to be she recived a call from Luxmedica that her blood test couldnt be performed because the lab doesnt have some tools to do so. They failed to provide the service but they give her 2 options. 1st- is that she will pay an extra money so they will politely send it to different lab or 2nd option is that she will wait till the lab will have right tools( they informed her that it can be an extra month or longer, they dont really know). She asked them for refund. They gave her back £180, but kept £12. The explanation from Luxmedica, I quote ” its not our fault, the lab just gave us the information, sorry”. I can say that they are very irresponsible, immature, unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. She bought their service, they couldnt provide it but still she had to pay for their mistakes. Plus she lost deposit money that she had to pay for an appointment with her doctor couse she had to cancel. Another thing is because they informed her that the test cant be done after 2 weeks she has few weeks of delay with her diagnosis which also will delay her treatment which can result in serious health complications. The worst part of this upsetting situation is the fact how childishly they behaved saying that its not their fault. They sell the service which means that they are responsible for providing it or not providing. No one cares how many people or institutions were involved in process, so explaining that its not their fault sounds like 10 year old child, not like professional medical clinic. They failed in every possible way. As a medical clinic they are responsible for human life no matter if they are private institution or not! Sadly they dont care and even worse make people pay for their mistakes. I have never seen this kind of negligience. For sure they have no knowledge of medical ethics and customer service. All this situation affected my cousine's life in very negative way. There are many medical clinics in london that can provide a good service for cheaper price and if they fail they will take responsibility and will help the patient in every possible way they can. So I would recommend to avoid Luxmedica.

Google Bad Review (2):  I completely agree that the reception staff here are RUDE. I would go further and question their competence as they seem to struggle with the most basic tasks. I think I can shed a little light on why they are this way.

I complained about their behaviour by writing in. Nothing was done. When I saw the practice manager, I told her I was disappointed that they hadn't dealt with the issue. She told me if I didn't like their behaviour I could register elsewhere. I was so shocked that I checked I'd heard her right. I asked “Are you saying if I feel bullied by your staff, rather than dealing with it, you are telling me to go elsewhere”. She repeated her statement about 4 or 5 times. I told her that she was being aggressive. She simply repeated her suggestion again and again that I go elsewhere.

So, if that is the manager's attitude, reception staff know they will get away with treating patients with contempt.

I asked for Dr Hunter to call me back – he never bothered. So why should the practice manager care, when the doctor doesn't?

So, if you register at this practice, be prepared for these attitudes.

Google Bad Review 1:  I have been a client of the clinic, both as a dental patient and as a patient of the optician service, for more than 4 years – but will not be going back in either capacity. The last – expensive – pair of glasses which I bought have broken 5 times within the space of 15 months. I was re-assured on the third occasion that the design fault had been identified and that the manufacturer had resolved the issue. Obviously not. On returning for the 6th time to the clinic, I was assured a completely new pair of glasses – but was left for 3 weeks without a phone call or an email to let me k ow what was happening. I had to turn up personally at the clinic to find out, to be presented with a few alternatives of much cheaper glasses which had been chosen as am alternative so that I could benefit from the same lenses – when the original conversation had involved assurances that a completely new pair of glasses would be forthcoming (including lenses) as compensation for all the trouble. Frankly, customer service is non-existent. This clinic has some excellent professionals, but some appalling front of clinic staff who think that they are better than the patients/customers who pay their salary – so good luck to them all, but I won't be spending any more of my own money to keep them gainfully employed.

I had an appointment booked for my 5 y old son, travelled an hour with him and a baby and upon arrival been told we will have to wait for 10 minutes….then 10 more….then 10 more.. When asked what was happening, because I didn't see anyone else came after us, the receptionist told me that the family of four is with the nurse (did they book one slot for 4 people?!)…I asked again if she could check with the nurse, and again got the answer 10 minutes…We waited for 10 more minutes and nothing happend ofcourse…50 minutes of waiting! Obviously, they weren't telling the truth since the beginning and left me and two small kids to wait for so long. Also, a few months ago I booked an appointment for myself (over the phone) and on the day when I came, they said they don't have me in the system but luckily the nurse was there so she could help me….I am not giving the third chance to this clinic!

Google Bad Review 1:  The male receptionist was so rude. If I could give negative starts I would. Extremely poor customer service. When I told him I was considering this and other Emsculpt ambassador clinics and wanted information about the package offer that was emailed to me, he became very arrogant asking “who is this?” And “if I'm comparing clinics then this isn't the clinic for me!” This is not the only ambassador Emsculpt clinic and I'm well within my rights to do my own research and make an informed choice which definitely will not be Emsculpt London Clinic!

Google Bad Review (2):  Unfortunately, EMSculpt is a gimmick that is being used to extract money from vulnerable post-covid patients and this clinic seem to be exploiting people to make money. My personal recommendation is to spend your money on the gym, a personal trainer and better quality food rather than being mis-sold treatments that are not effective.
Several of the reviews here are 3+ years old, the “buddy” they pair you up with also did not have the treatment recently, and therefore I question the authenticity of this clinic.

Google Bad Review 1:  AVOID This place like the plague!!! The way I have been treated by the practitioner Angela has been soooo awful I received Botox injections 2 and half weeks ago and regret it so much the price was a red flag from the get go £175 for a full head and £40 top up was not giving a consent form to sign ? My forhead is full of bumps I had to go to accident and emergency because I was suffering from really bad headaches still am at present 2 and half weeks down the line!!! Angela is extremely unprofessional does not care about her patients at alll ! I was sent some really uncalled for nasty messages was told that I was mentally unstable then she blocked me ! I’m absolutely livid and would not wish this on anyone!!! Still to this date Angela constantly looks at my Instagram stories but has not messaged me or showed any kind of remorse for what she has done to me!! I will attach the cruel messages she has sent me ! Guys and girls please do your research before any kind of cosmetic procedure! Go to a nurse!!!! Will be taking this further.

My nose looked good for about 3 hours after the procedure and then it swelled up and now 4 months later it is still fat and swollen. He won’t fix it unless I pay him more and it’s just a joke
