ORIGINAL REVIEW

Im hoping i will be updating this review soon with something better. I have completed the online questionaire and paid for the COVID recovery certificate and am waiting for the certs to be delivered. It has not been altogether smooth.

What was smooth was the online questionaire and navigating the website, thehealthify.co.uk. Very easy to use, and very clear on what was being offered. After finishing the procedure at 9:31 am, i was assured i would get my certs in two hours time, and that they would email or call me with any questions or concerns. They gave me an email to use if i had any, as well as for pestering them if my certs didnt come thru.

At 11:40 am i sent an email asking for a status report. I got what appeared to be an automated email back stating “We are closed exceptionally today, 22nd May with limited access to our emails. ” Mind you, in the UK, where i am, and where this company appears to be, is currently the 23rd of May, on a Monday. I reminded them of this, asked if they are open today—May 23rd—and as of 12:12 pm, have not had a response back.

I was then tempted to visit their office, but their listed address is for a flower shop. I dont know about the UK, but in the US, it is a common tactic for businesses whom do not want to have a public-facing office, like handymen and online businesses, to register or list someone else's address, usually another business but sometimes some random person's residential, as their business address. It is illegal in the US to do this; its an attempt to avoid accountability. As such, i cannot visit them, and thus the safest option is to seek this service elsewhere and hope The Healthify is professional about issuing a refund. It would be nice if they come thru before i find another issuer, and will accept their certs if they do, and will update this review if they do, but if this review is still here, know that this didnt happen, and i hope you are wary in your dealings with this company.

UPDATE

The short: They came thru, but very delayed with poor communication.

The long: They were indeed open (the first email was an error i guess) and they said they would “process your submission and get back to you later on today.” When i asked for a time estimate, they said 2-3 hours. I guess they forgot about me. Two hours and seventeen minutes later, they responded with the certs. They looked great. The airline, United, was happy with them, except…

We did end up hitting a snag, which required a reprint of the certs with additional information. They did resend the certs with the info two hours and five minutes later, which i am grateful for. However, they did not respond to calls despite calling three times and leaving a message, and did not respond to email until the certs were done, which was very frustrating, as i was under the impression they would be available by telephone. Additionally, we had no idea how long the new certs would take (or if they were going to resend them at all), which was pressing. I did see a missed call approx. two hours later, a few minutes before they resent the certs. In the end, we rescheduled our flights and booked a hotel. Clearly The Healthify is not at fault for not getting the new certs to us in time for our flight nor for the omission of the info we needed (the fault was the airline and I having a miscommunication), but the lack of customer support and the overall shadiness of the business has convinced me that if we must do this process again, we will go with someone else, probably Warwickshire Private Health, and i recommend the same to anyone interested in this service. On a scale from 1 to 5, with 1 being bad service, 5 being excellent, and 3 being ok, i give this place a 2, for getting getting the process done but poorly.
