I was looking to book a day 2 test with coronatestcentre, but my girlfriend and I have experienced nothing but trouble. Borderline scam.

My girlfriend succesfully booked her test, but I was unable to book using my own card, as it declined, for seemingly no reason. She tried again with her card, which was also declined. We contacted customer service for assistance. We asked if it was possible for them to book my test, using her card, which it wasnt, as they were experiencing technical difficulties. Fair enough, I booked with a different provider. BUT the next day, without hearing back from them for over 24 hours, they charged my girlfriend an additional £99 for my test (in spite of the fact that we had a 20% discount code, that we told them to use) WITHOUT consulting us first. I had to provide ‘evidence’ of having booked with another test provider, before they would refund this. However, we eventually got the refund and thought the horrors were over. But no. When in London, we came across a testcentre at Victoria station. We had originally booked my girlfriends test for Euston, but we thought we might as well get it over with. I called customer service, asked to move the appointment, were told this was no problem. My girlfriend got tested and I thought we could finally enjoy our holiday. BUT NO, she was charged £99 AGAIN. WITHOUT being consulted!! What is going on?? They refuse to refund this, as they claim the original appointment (the very first one my girlfriend booked for herself) was cancelled? We received absolutely no information on this, and we certainly never requested for that appointment to be cancelled. An absolutely horrific experience all the way through. Do. Not. Use.

Google Bad Review 1:  I attended an appointment at this clinic on a thursday. I was given the name of someone to contact regarding ongoing treatment however she had no availability. I emailed the clinic back the next day to ask for the name of someone else to see and was told to await a response. 1 week later and despite several emails being sent, I am still waiting. This is very poor service for a clinic that charged me almost £500 for a one hour consultation.

Google Bad Review (2):  Terrible customer service. I would not use this clinic again. A warning for potential customers.
1) The clinic overcharged me for an appointment I had with a specialist. It took five months of continuous chasing to get them to give any sort of refund for the amount overcharged, at which point they refused to refund the full overcharge as the specialist had part of the money (despite the fact that they had taken the payment from me directly)
2) Misdiagnosed a fractured collarbone in my 2 year old son. it was only when he was still hurting three weeks later and we took him to a specialist at UCL that we go the right answer.

Google Bad Review 1:  Same again. It never takes less than 2 hours toget the check up done. The nurses seem to be disorganised the patient never knows when they will be treated and who is next. Get passed by three nurses ad none of them seem to be talking to each other. After my horrid visit last November I was promised this will not happen again. To be fair. It was not as long as it was in November. IT WAS MUCH LONGER. Test results take up to 10 days. From now on. Only Dean street clinic. Mortimer is getting worse

Google Bad Review 1:  Terrible experience. Had a midwifery appointment where we had to walk through people being tested for Covid. We was then told that we needed to leave our pram outside the door. Another midwife then said we couldn’t leave the pram outside and that we would have to go outside with the pram. Whilst my partner was in there I was forced to wait in the cold for my partner. An absolute joke!

Google Bad Review (2):  I cannot award any stars as my experience of the service was so so poor. In a nutshell please do not waste your time going to this place. I rarely if ever complain or write negative reviews as I tend to err on the side of trying to understand where other people are coming from and giving people the benefit of the doubt. However my experience was so bad I feel compelled to let you all know not to bother going to this place.
I am 35 (almost 36) weeks pregnant with a breech pregnancy. I did my research, phoned the British Acupuncture Council as well as the British Medical Acupuncture Society and was told that it is worth trying moxibustion before medical intervention and that the best time is before 36 weeks. but that even after this time it is worth trying as it can make ECV more effective,
I spoke to very friendly reception staff on the phone who told me I could come in today at 3pm and see Dr Wong who will see me for a consultation then do the treatment.
when I arrived there Dr Wong stood a far distance away looking at me, and did not respond when I smiled and said hello. After a few moments he gestured for me to follow him still not smiling, still no hello. When we sat down he seemed tired, irritated and not present. First he said he would not do the Moxi because it is better between 7 and 8 months then he said that he couldn't do it because they cannot burn things in their building. Even though I had to tell him the names of the medical procedure ECV and the inversion exercise; after not really telling me anything useful and being unfriendly to the point of rudeness, (amounting to about 2 minutes) I was told to buy the herbs and do the procedure myself at home.
I then phoned the London Acupuncture clinic on Harley street who were kind, polite and courteous and told me the procedure is best before 36 weeks and booked me in for a Moxibustion tomorrow (when I turn 36 weeks).
Even though I felt I had wasted my time going to Acumedic, which when you are heavily pregnant and the weather is hot is not a nice experience, I can handle that sort of thing if people are courteous and kind towards me which Dr Wong was most certainly not!
