Google Good Review: This has been my surgery for over 13 years and I have never had a problem. The staff are wonderful and welcoming. The doctors are professional and friendly. Couldn't recommend more!

This is a cowboy outfit and should come with a public health warning ⚠️
My partner and mother of our son contacted the practice with concern because my 2 years and 9 month year old son is having a cough for over 3 weeks and it’s getting worse not better. His symptoms are particularly bad at night where for a number of nights he has coughed so much that he vomits. He gets very distressed by it and naturally we get very upset seeing him in this way. We were told a doctor would call us back at 17:30 to discuss.
When he called I explained what was happening and our concerns. I was expecting a very least to be called in for a check up but instead the doctor asked me to perform his job for him whilst he sat in the comfort of his own desk. I was asked to listen to my sons chest for wheezing to which I tried but it’s not easy to do so on such a young toddler let alone without a stethoscope. I responded that I couldn’t hear anything really and was waiting for another question when the doctor outright diagnosed my under 3 year old son with asthma over the phone and suggested administering him an inhaler which could be collected from local pharmacy.
I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I’m utterly shocked about the cavalier attitude from a GP. Things have been getting awful in the GP practice but this is just outright dangerous practice.
I told the doctor that I couldn’t allow my son to be administered anything without at least being seen in person and had basic checks performed.
I shall be writing a letter and sending it to the minister for health, department of health and NHS.
