Google Bad Review:  For those who is considering visiting this clinic for skin consultation, here is my experience. Please note that you’re experience can be different depending on you’re concerns.

I found this clinic on treatwell and called them to find out what’s expected from the consultation. Dr Prasad said it’s 1 hour detailed consultation with possible referral for blood tests, prescriptions etc. So I thought I would give it a go and continue my booking on treatwell but Dr. Prasad asked not to book through treatwell but instead to do a bank transfer.

On the day of the appointment I arrived promptly however my appointment was delayed by 10 minutes and no one even acknowledged it. I came to the appointment already knowing that I have closed comedones and wanted to hear what is the way to improve it. However, Dr. Prasad took 20 minutes to explain me that I have closed comedones and it’s a very complex situation, took photos of my face. She did’t ask about my diet and then noted down what I currently use for skincare. She said it will take 3-6 month to work on my skin and I will have to change from my current routine to ZO products. It will cost me approximately £300 for skincare products, £145 for hydrafacial treatment and £65 for follow up appointment. So around £600 for 2-3 months. On my question: What if the skincare doesn’t suit me and in 6 month I won’t see results, she said: We will try low dose of ROA.

Outcome:

– My appointment finished in 35 minutes instead of 1h.
– I didn’t get any advise regarding how I can start working on my skin myself
– All your current skincare (even if it’s good) have to be replaced with ZO products
– You will be always in touch with Dr. Prasad to monitor your skin if you decide to go with the treatment
– If there is no results with skincare within 6 months then the solution is to start low dose ROA

In my honest opinion I was expecting professional advice on my skin type rather than pay £100 to be told to replace my skincare with ZO brand and hydrafacial treatments. I was also upset that my appointment was 10 min late and finished in 35 minutes. For those who is planning to go here, just be prepared for all this. Otherwise, spend a little bit more on dermatologist who will give you informative advice on you’re current routine with something you can take away from the appointment.
