I would avoid this place at all cost!…I walked in here June 2021 with a 14K gold bracelet that just needed repair–It was my favourite piece. These “shady” folks talked me out of having it repaired after insisting any repair would not hold up and I would eventually need to repeat the repairs. Instead, they wanted me to PURCHASE one of their pieces… They took the broken bracelet in exchange for one of theirs; I only needed to pay £1,400 of top of giving them my bracelet for an 18k bracelet made of 30g of gold.
Today, I went in to sell the 18K Gold/30gram bracelet back to them, the one I'd just been sold 5 months ago for £1,400, on top of the 14K trade in. They offered me £700… Scammed. The price of 18K gold is around £33 per gram. The bracelet they sold me is 30 grams. Do the math…
This isn't even a meltdown, but if it were, they would still be offering over £200 less than market. They scammed me…sad. Will never shop here again. Lesson learned.
