Google Bad Review (2):  This insurance cover appears to be a farce. We lost our bikes in our garden while the electric gate from the building's garage failed to close one night. Our garden gate was latched, bolted and locked. We rented the property and we’re not permitted to install anchors or brackets onto the walls to secure the bike. Therefore, we D-locked 2 bikes together, and they were in locked building. We submitted our claim to getsafe, however, they are more interested in finding a reason within the terms of policy to exclude our claim, so we have to suffer a hit in monetary terms.

We have had our bike stolen, they were locked together, and this insurer has also proven it wasn’t fit for purpose as they pursued exclusion as the first option. Please avoid this insurance company. They are not fit for purpose.

Google Bad Review 1:  Do not use this company. We had market trader insurance which included stock loss and business interruption cover. We made a claim after the London terror attacks and they showed no empathy during the claim and were very unclear in their communication. In the end they would not payout as we did not have terrorist cover, which is fair enough. But before the treasury declared it as a terror attack the insurers wrote and said our claim was not valid for various reasons which I still don't understand. Furthermore we we didn't have various extensions, but even if we did have those extensions they still wouldn't pay out. I have asked for clarification and they have not replied. No point to having this insurance.
